Really nice ladder but questionable shipping
Umbra is a staple where I'm from so when I saw this ladder for sale in the UK I was so excited. I have 2 friends who worked there and I can attest to the quality of their products. The ladder itself is for interior design, I use it to hang clothing and blankets. It's part of the design and aesthetic of my bedroom. The ladder is expandable which makes it customizable and great for a variety of spaces. Overall I love the ladder.The questionable part was the shipping... The ladder requires no assembly which mean the box it comes in is pretty large. When the item arrived the box was pretty beaten and had some holes poked in it. When I took the ladder out one of the side hooks had broken off leaving one of the rungs hanging out of position. It also had a few dents and dings. I contact Amazon and they offered a discount if I wanted to keep the item, which I did. I ended up using a sharpie on some of the black chips and wood glue to fix the hook/rung that was broken. I don't think the item itself is super fragile but it truly looks like during shipping someone threw the box down the stairs.Amazon customer service was great though and I'm happy with the ladder now that I've fixed it.

Leaves traces on white walls
I was buying this ladder specifically for placing clothes that would otherwise be on the floor. So the item works well for that.I have a dark brown version - so be aware, can leave traces on white walls.

Looks great well made perfect.
Excellent addition to my bathroom , towels hang perfectly and the beautiful wood matches bathroom sink under cupboard. Great ladder towel rail.

I like it but we decided that we were going to ...
The review is not so much related with the product itself. I like it but we decided that we were going to return it as the walnut colour is significantly darker than the other walnut furniture we have. It would have been good to know that it would cost £30 to return the product or at least to know that we would have to pay for return before purchasing. Had I known this I would have possibly not ordered it as again wasn't sure if the colours would match. So now we are keeping it...
