Very disappointed, the book is a panphlet, it’s seriously 10 pages of info. Save your money for a real book .

BAD INFO -- BIG RIPOFF. First, while not a perfume expert [that's why I've started buying how-to books on perfume, so I can learn more, and learn from different points of view], I try to stay open to different ways people who are actual experts have of presenting information. I don't need a book to be perfect to learn from it and value it. ALARM GOING OFF: This *book* is not really a book...it's only about 30 actual pages!!! IT'S A PAMPHLET, NOT A REAL BOOK! ALARM GOING OFF#2: This *author* either doesn't know enough about perfume making or for some weird reason WANTS THE READER TO FAIL while making a profit off the reader's ignorance...and the reader's trust in Amazon.So I knew enough from having taken a very basic intro to perfume class and having helped a non-profit with a cookbook years ago, that there are certain things you can't leave out of even the most basic little how-to book, just like you can't leave key facts out of a perfume *recipe* and how-to book... without producing terrible results, and without endangering potential users of that perfume. This *book* and this *author* get almost everything wrong. Is it an intentional rip off? I started thinking it might be. Read on, so you don't make the mistakes I did.Also, so many typos, misspellings, bad grammar and confusing passages in this rip-off pamphlet, that I resented the fact that this individual could be allowed to smear Amazon's rep by using their lenient policies to put this factually misleading, badly written, badly published book here at the world's biggest book marketing destination.We're not talking idea censorship here --instead, we're talking misleading content, incorrect information, and a badly published pamphlet masquerading as a real book, at a real book price. One positive: the binding on the book, though possibly from a print-on-demand type printer, apparently, was actually excellent.But what's the bigger issue this book showed me?There's a new ugly truth everyone who buys books on Amazon needs to understand now: there's a *new school* of rip-off DIY *publishers* that abuse Amazon and Amazon's customers.I took 2 classes on how to publish on Amazon, too, because I wanted to find out what's going on with all the Kindle stuff. I try to be open to different approaches, and I don't always trust a single approach, or a single source. So last summer, I decided to take 2 classes from different teachers on *the new publishing*.What I learned shocked me and mostly, not in a good way. One of the classes was legitimate, teaching you to write about what you know, or what you love, and if you're not a good enough writer, pay someone to transcribe your book from tapes you make...both classes I took last summer also included how to publish more effectively on Kindle and traditional paper books.The second class I took was a rip-off class, taught by rip-off experts! Turns out there are a about a dozen or so *internet marketers* charging hundreds of dollars to teach everyone to *become an instant publisher on Amazon...even if you're not a writer, and even if you have no interest in writing books*. CAN YOU BELIEVE IT? Major publishers hire people to write about topics, but they're people who are experts on the topics, that's why those books sell jillions of copies.However, this book has all the earmarks of that second *internet marketers* kind of rip-off approach to publishing that promises quick profits for little to no work, and what's most important, and most dangerous --WITH NO KNOWLEDGE OF THE SUBJECT BY THE AUTHOR! They actually tell you to steal the content from WIKIPEDIA, and write an extremely long sub-title with keywords that people use on Amazon to search for books, and hire someone to retype the WIKIPEDIA content and slap the book up on Amazon.They actually said in this class *people on Amazon are too lazy to complain*, and *you can copy anything off Wikipedia and people will buy it*, and *you can get away with just about anything on Amazon*.So, as another Amazon book buyer like me, you need to know there was nothing in that second class I took about knowing the topic! Nothing in the class about respecting the reader/purchaser's right to TRUE AND FACTUAL INFORMATION IN A HOW-TO BOOK.So is that second class taught by rip-off meisters connected somehow to this, the worst book I've bought out of over 100 books in the last three years on Amazon? I noticed the very few pages of how-to instructions in this badly done [and I suspect, completely faked-up] *book* and what was there, even I knew there were important HEALTH AND SAFETY warnings left out, and also missing were specifics on minimum quantities and more basic everyone-needs-to-know type facts to get started with. We're not talking high-level expert perfume formulation here, just basics for the newb.And all the above is why I do suspect this is one of those fake books by a fake author who doesn't know the topic, and more importantly, doesn't care about the reader/buyer of their book.AMAZON, get with it and get rid of this kind of rip-off trash.I'm keeping this book so I can show it as the worst writing and publishing examples ever in the next class I take on publishing!WAKE UP, BOOK BUYERS!

The information in this book could have easily been found online for free. There was no useful information other than general broad guides to how to start any business.

I bought this book new but the quality of the pages and the way it was printed was very amateurish. This information went no further than what you might pick up from 5 minutes on the internet. I total waste of my money. My daughter (7yrs old) could have put this together in a few hours. Its 39 pages long with the first 6 pages taken up the disclaimer and contents table. The font is large and spread out and most of the pages are so spaced out that they look half empty. Even the information that is present is basic at best.I wanted to learn how to make perfume properly and after this I am none the wiser and lighter in the pocket.Totally disappointed. An absolute waste of my hard earned money.
