Generators Honda EU7000is - 5500 Watt Electric Start Portable Inverter

I finally decided to purchase one of these legendary generators. Amazon price looked okay, so I put one in my cart.However, when trying to check out, I was told that it could not be delivered to my address (which is a perfectly normal apartment in Mountain View). This was not good. I tried to order it several times, but was rebuffed each time.Screw Amazon then. I went to the Grainger website, and was able to order one with no delivery issues, AND it was about $100 cheaper!! Do yourself a favor - check pricing elsewhere before locking in at Amazon.The generator itself is outstanding - 5 stars - my battery came fully charged - just had to add gas and oil, and it fired up first time with no nonsense. Excellent machine. I will enjoy using it for my portable ham radio microwave and EME work for many years to come.73 Dave AD6A

3 star offgrid generator rating, not reliable enough for wife to handle if I'm at work. When I'm home I monitor/control loads and handle stoppages from overloading. Therefore, the EU7000IS doesn't have enough generating capacity for a homestead with primary solar/wind sources relegating the generator to emergency 'tended' backup which works well. 5 star rating for RV use and. Very efficient fuelwise. This my final EU7000is review.
