Good purchase.
Bought to see how I like crimp fittings before I buy a more expensive power crimper. This works better than I expected for the price. It’s a little heavy and won’t fit in real tight spaces but for most stuff it should be fine. I didn’t think it was hard to crimp like other reviews claimed. I have a pex band crimper that’s harder to use than this. The first time I used it I was prepared to really squeeze and was surprised how easy it was. It’s first use was to Install a tankless water heater and I crimped about 15 joints in less than 5 min after fitting and prep. Definitely a good tool if you don’t want to spend the thousands it costs for a power crimper or only need it occasionally.

Great tool, worked flawlessly
Very quality tool, great attention to detail. It was able to fit in a smaller space than I thought. I had only an inch of clearance to get the latch over the line and it was able to make the seal. I crimped 5 fittings on my first use and it worked very well with no leaks or issues. The only downside is that it takes a lot of force to crimp the fitting but that's a given considering the nature of the connection type.

Perfect if you're only doing a few crimps
It works for sure but it's a fair bit heavy and might be difficult in tight spaces. I yse mostly PEX in my state and have a pro press for that. I primarily bought this to Crimp conversion adapters from copper to PEX. I had a couple pipes that we couldn't quite stop the water from draining back in from further up in the system and didn't have time to wait for it to finish and put a solder fitting on it. This works on a wet fitting and enabled us to get moving along on the repipe. I don't use enough copper crimps to warrant the purchase of an additional $1500-2000 tool. This tool is solid, has the sizes I need and gets the job done. The handles extend for better leverage and close up for better carrying. The carrying case is okay and works well enough but I wouldn't toss it around too much in my truck. The other Crimp jaws float around in the case and won't stay in their respective spots. If I put some thin foam on top to keep them in place, it would help but really, it's not a detractor for me. This tool works very well for the price and convenience. The head piece swivels as well. If it broke, I would happily buy another one of these but I do expect this tool to last a good while. I would purchase with confidence. It's perfect if doing some small jobs or conversions.

A great tool for DIY homeowner projects 1/2" & 3/4"
First I'll note that I am terrible at soldering and I've used sharkbite push connect fittings on other projects. Sharkbite is easy & great but doesn't present well and can be difficult to provide supports. Next I consider myself to be in average strength/condition for an adult man. I was able to crimp a 1" fitting with this product with extreme effort but was able to get through it. 3/4" fittings are much easier but still taxing on arms after you do say 4 or 5. If your planning to use this on your home projects, doing a few fittings here and there this is a great tool. It does require a lot of space so not for cramped spaces; Consider sharkbite for those spaces if you can't solder.

Amazing!
I decided to try the pro press fittings on my recent water heater replacement. I can't believe I waited so long to transition. The handles expand to give extra leverage when needed. The spinning head helps to get the right angle on the handles. The only bad thing I have to report on this is the size of the head as it makes it a bit difficult to work in wall cavities. I could definitely see this being a no brainer for new work where those obstacles are not present, but on the same token you're probably a professional if doing new work and using the battery powered versions. Definitely recommend this nonetheless.

Easy to use and no leaks
If you have the space to allow use of this tool, it works very well. Make sure to use an actual pipe cutter (not a saw) and de-burr both the inside and outside of the cut pipe before adding the fitting. Clean, smooth connections are required to prevent damage to the O-ring on the connector. With this tool, I repaired my heating system quickly and made it through the entire winter season without a single leak. Force required for a 3/4" pipe wasn't too hard with the handles fully extended. If you can use a bolt cutter, you should be strong enough to use this. The main limitation on this tool is space requirements. If your pipe is in a cramped access area, it might not work.

Great value
Works great. Easy to crimp in spite of what the video says.

Don't Do It!
I normally don't write reviews, only if necessary, this is necessary. I received this product, and first of all, noticed is has been used, I should of known then, but I decided to try it. I made certain all the parts were there, and read manual, making sure I'm using the tool correctly, as being a commercial plumber, I'm familiar with using press tools and fittings. I had a small job to do, requiring me to replace a device at the meter, which is routine. Adding the device with (3) 3/4" press fittings, using this manual press,{btw it does require upper body strength} I pressed on all of my fittings (6) presses, turned the water back on, and only one fitting out of the three held tight. I had to cut every thing out, and use a Ridgid ProPress, which worked effortlessly. As a professional plumber, I made a mistake purchasing this unit just to have as a backup in case my other press goes down for any reason. My take on this unit is that it may be well built for the design, but it is not reliable, and you will have problems using it
