Keeps things smelling fresh
Great cat litter. Absorbs odors really well. If you clean your cat box out a few times a day and make sure you keep the Litter freshly turned it last a very long time. I have this on my subscribe and save.

Best cat litter to reduce odor
Best cat litter to eliminate smells! I have 2 female cats and do a full change out of my box every 7-10 days. I use an auto cleaning box and mix in about 1/3 of my litter as slide clumping litter to help with the automatic litter box catching the poop. I take the waste bag every day or two. The Elsey significantly reduces cat odor. I highly recommend!

Works, but Nature's Miracle is better
As someone with a cat who lives in a studio apartment, I LOVE crystal cat litter. There is little to no odor, and I don't need to empty the litter box every single day like I had to with traditional litters. I've been using Nature's Miracle Crystal Cat Litter, so when for some inexplicable reason it doubled in price just when I needed it, I decided to check out this Precious Cat brand litter as it was about the same price as the Nature's Miracle.Well, it worked okay. The Precious Cat brand still worked infinitely better than traditional cat litter, even the "no odor" cat litters. But, I still don't think it eliminated the odor as well as the Nature's Miracle. And I noticed that the Precious Cat brand crystals didn't absorb the moisture as well as the Nature's Miracle brand. Also, a small gripe, I just think that given you only get two uses out of this litter, the container was unnecessary. When I ran out of the Precious Cat, luckily the Nature's Miracle had returned to its regular price, so that's what I went right back to.

GAME. CHANGER.
Is it a bit dramatic to say this cat litter changed my life? Because honestly, it did. I live in a small space and, though I know more than one litter box is desirable and recommended for two cats, it simply wasn't realistic for my household. So I used a good clumping clay litter with baking soda and scooped my one box at least twice a day into my litter genie, but still couldn't altogether escape the smell or the tracking, plus my cats were clearly not happy with the arrangement-- one of my cats had some litter box anxiety and was frequently covering and re-covering everything in the box, breaking up clumps and kicking litter out in the process.Rather than once again try to figure out how to make two boxes work, I decided to give this crystal litter a try first on the suggestion of a friend (I have one long-haired cat and one short-haired), and the cats took to it immediately. The cat who had been stressed about the box now only goes in to do her business, except when she actually races over to watch with fascination whenever I rake the crystals. I was truly blown away by how well it works--it really does absorb ALL liquid and urine odors. The only odors arise immediately after the cats poop, but all moisture from that is quickly absorbed as well, so the odor is less intense than it used to be.I still use the litter genie for convenience, but I could honestly get rid of it and scoop the poops directly into the toilet. Lingering odors are GONE. There is still a bit of tracking, but much, much less than with the clay litter. There are no gross, saturated clumps sticking to the box and the scoop. There is absolutely no hint of a "litter box smell" in my home anymore. Given that the instructions specify to only use 1" of it at a time, and the fact that it lasts two full weeks before needing to be replaced, it doesn't actually end up being much more expensive than my old brand, and the improved quality of life it has given me more than makes up for the $5 or so extra I'm paying per month (I expect this one container to last me about a month for 2 cats and one litter box).If you haven't tried this type of litter, DO IT. My only regret is that I didn't switch sooner.

The best litter for us, and I think we've tried EVERYTHING!
Is this litter perfect? Amazing? I honestly don't think there's such a thing for me! I've tried probably 2 dozen different brands of litter, from clumping, to pine, to corn-based, silica, even the kind made from recycled newspapers. However, this is what I keep coming back to! I like it because it contains the odor the best (for my one kitty), lasts the longest, and requires the least maintenance from me. I scoop out the poo at least every other day and empty/replenish the litter out about every week to week and a half. I dislike that it is slightly dusty when I poor in the new litter and I also don't love the little pieces of litter than inevitably get kicked out or stuck in paws that come out... these little pieces are not fun to step on and therefore, the room with the litter box gets vacuumed daily. Overall, this brand has worked the best for us! I love that it is almost half the price (at present) from Amazon than similar products at the pet store, and the additional savings by getting is Subscribe and Save are fantastic.

My cat loves it!
Love this product! My cat is pretty picky when it comes litter and usually only likes Pretty Litter. He hates clay litters, tofu, pine, I have tried everything because Pretty litter is so expensive. I also wanted a healthier option that was low dust for his allergies, non-toxic, and provides potential health benefits. After doing extensive research, Dr. Elseyโs was the only one that check all of those boxes! It is definitely a thicker texture than Pretty Litter but my cat doesnโt seem to mind it! Itโs still on the spendy side but still cheaper than what I was using and has better benefits in my book!

Worst litter ever
Extremely confused by everyone comments because this is the worst litter ever. The dust is outrageous. Doesnโt eliminate odor at all! Makes the biggest mess ever. It smells awful. Iโll spend the extra money and stick with pretty litter.

Less dust, less smell, happy cat
This is one of the best products on the market.

This litter tracks everywhere!
After one night of usage, I can confidently say that this is the absolute worst litter I have ever used. It tracks everywhere. There's not a single room that does not have litter in. Woke up this morning to litter in the bed and on my desk in a completely different room. My cat has only used the litter twice overnight according to my Litter Robot and yet, I have litter pieces in all rooms. Actually calling it litter pieces might be wrong. What we should be calling it is little shards of glass everywhere because the pieces are sharp and some are pretty small and yes I did accidentally step on one and injured my foot. I urge everyone to stay away from this product and its false advertising especially at the ridiculous high price.

Great cat litter
I have 2 cats that love this litter. This non clumping litter controls odor and doesn't stick their fur so they don't track it everywhere. It also changes color as it soaks up liquids which gives a nice indicator of when it needs changing.

Great Oder control.
We have been using this litter for 3 years now and love it. Virtually no smell of cat urine at all. We prefer the purple but when push comes to shove we will still use the blue one.

Okay but crystals are hard
This litter is okay in a pinch but the crystals are too big, and I feel uncomfortable for the kitties' paws.

Dustiest litter ever
Within a second of pouring this into the litter pan, I was hit with a mushroom cloud of white dust. I had hardly poured any out yet! It took me an hour to fill two litter bins, with 2 air purifiers and my patio door opened right beside me, I still had to take repeated breaks after just a short pour because the dust was so bad. My one cat came by to check out what was going on and immediately left to go puke (and no, it was not a hairball). My eyes were so dry and they burned, my lungs felt heavy.... You may be asking yourself, why did you finish using it? Well I was on my way out of town for the weekend and didn't have another option. I was forced to make it work. But never again will I buy this stuff. You may think I'm exaggerating but I assure you, I am not. I have 4 eldery cats and I've gone through plenty of dusty litters over the years. There have been a few that were pretty bad... But I have never seen anything quite like this!If you or your cats have asthma or lung problems - please, for your own safety, avoid this!
