Delightful story of a Lowri who moves with her parents to Wales from london. Lowri is open to the mystical side of life and here in Wales she finds that side of herself and the story ends with her realising how important her connection to the stars and the Divine is to help her Dad. Added to the story is the story of cockles being harvested and Welsh lore and life and language. An excellent book for children with Welsh ancestory or who love Wales as I do. Story based in the Gower Peninsula in South Wales so a perfect book to take on a holiday to the area and map out the places and find a bit of magic. Great story.
