Works great for instrument cables!
I'm a guitarist and need to run to pickups at the same time, so I needed a sleeve to keep two 1/4" instrument cables together. I found this guy and it worked out perfectly! It expands enough to allow you to slide the jacks through, but shrinks back to its original size. The braided mesh looks great too!

Good sleeve, but too small for power cables.
Works well, but only for smaller cables such as USB and Ethernet cables. I got this to try to fit 2 DVI and 2 power cables for my monitors, but not even the head of the power cable could be squeezed through. I have no idea how they fit the DB25 serial cable shown in the picture through this sleeve. Keep this in mind!

Works great, and looks good too
This helped me out a lot to keep the cables on my CNC machine organized and together, so they don't get caught up in the machine. It makes the wiring look much better, and more professional. I will definitely order another one to clean up my desk wires. If you need to cut it shorter, like I did, I recommend squeezing the sleeving open, and slightly melting the frayed end with a lighter, that way it doesn't fray even more, and come apart.

Pretty good overall
Pretty good overall. I used this to wrap around cords so kitten could not chew through them. Does a good job so far. Only con is the durability as some parts of it has unwoven wher cat bites or claws at.

Perfect cord cover!
Worked perfectly to cover a white electrical cord that no longer matched the previously white colored pendant light that I sprayed with black and hammered copper enamel paint. Cheap and easy solution prevented me from needing to change the electrical cord altogether. :) I'll be ordering more braided sleeving to cover other cords allowing a better blend with my interior colors as I update throughout our home.

Difficult to use
May be a matter of experience with the materials, but this was tough to use wrapping speaker wire. Intended to bundle a pair of cables and give a nice finished look. Made the cables very stiff in places. Took this off as it looked and performed poorly in my application. Resorted to the spiral wrap for bundling behind the scenes and buying Sewell brand wire for the clean look.

C'MON MAN....not close to 10ft!
Bought this to cover a couple of 10ft lengths of 10/3 30A power cable. Diameter wise, the 1/2" is perfect. Length wise is just FALSE ADVERTISING. I measured it, stretched as much as possible, and it came out just under 8ft 9in. Now the last 9 inches, roughly, on both sides of my cords will have to be shrink tubed and not have the nylon. Also took over a week to get here. I'm not sure if USPS has a slower service than "first class" (ha!) or media mail, but if they do then that is definitely the service level used by whoever sells this. Just save your frustration by buying a roll of longer than you need length. If I had, I'd be happy and not have spent that much more.

Looks great!
This sleeving looks great and holds the wires together well. The 1/2" actually held much more than I expected as it expanded quite a bit. The biggest thing was learning to put a zip tie and a piece of shrink wrap on the end instead of just leaving it bare. Not only did this make it look better, it kept the wires in place inside of the sleeve.Oh yeah, don't melt the sleeve with the heat gun when you are getting the heat shrink down to size!
