Nice
It worked perfect for my space and it looks nice. I was able to follow the directions without any issues. But I did need help in some steps.

Good Table
Took about an hour to assemble. Looks nice. Very sturdy. Drawer opens smoothly and fully but doesn't fall out. I use it for a printer table and paper storage, etc. I do not like to assemble furniture but the instructions were clear and I had no issues. I would buy it again. (BTY, I gave it 5 stars because, for the price, it is.) I saw one assembled in a furniture store for $375.

A nice, simple desk
I've read reviews on other sites claiming this desk is made of particle board. It isn't, it is actually made of solid wood. You can tell by looking at the end grain of the pieces, it is clearly real solid wood.I like the desk, it is an attractive design and once assembled correctly, it is s nice looking and functional little corner desk with a classic look. I am giving four stars because mine exhibits some of the same things that others here are complaining about.Mine arrived with one cosmetic blemish, it looks like a scrape mark or something along the edge of the top. Also, the drawer slide brace was cracked in a way that does not effect the form or function of the piece. My box had no damage, so I don't think this is happening as a result of improper handling during shipping. I think this is something going on at the factory that is causing these issues with damage. The instructions did have one or two illustrations that were inverted, which caused a moment of confusion. But it was easy to figure out. I assembled it myself in about an hour and a half. The dowels are either too short, or the dowel holes are drilled too deeply. When I put the dowels in, they go so far in that only a quarter of an inch or so is sticking out. So, you have to be careful about that. I also ran out of wood glue, as the tube that comes with the desk holds a laughably small amount. So I had to find my own adhesive after assembling half of the desk. All that said, I still like the desk and for the money think it is still the best deal I've seen for a nice simple classic corner desk. I appreciate that it is solid wood, so I give them a pass on one or two dings.Yes, the holes and screws and bolts don't always line up perfectly. But the instructions say not to tighten anything until the end. If you follow this instruction and leave all of your screws and bolts loose until the end, you should have no problem getting everything to line up. Once you get everything lined up and all of the screws and bolts started, it is easy to tighten them and bring the desk in to square. The desk sits flat on the floor, and doesn't wobble. It feels solid. I wouldn't stand on it, though.I would recommend this desk to a friend and if this one were lost or stolen I would probably replace it with the same desk.

Sturdy, Easy to Assemble and FITS my space perfectly
First, I am not great at assembling things; weak damaged hands and no mechanical inclination. But, this little desk went together like a dream; never once had to remove anything to reposition or rearrange the pieces. The instructions took some diagnosis as they are just pictures and one piece was on the opposite side of the hole for the drawer than depicted in the picture, but once I ignored that fact I had the sucker together lickity split! What I like best is that the top is below the rail (that strip of wood on the wall to protect the wall from chair backs) but since the top overhangs the legs a tad bit, it fits over the lip of the window ledge. All other shelf/storage options I looked at for this corner space would have either been wobbly due to the chair rail on the wall or been in conflict with the window ledge; this one managed both.I also purchased two bamboo desktop book shelf units and now I have a lovely matching desk and shelf organizer in the empty corner of my kitchen; perfect for my cookbooks and laptop (for online recipe searching).Very Sturdy and the drawer works great!!

Perfect corner desk!
We bought this corner desk for our eleven year old daughter. It’s perfect for her homework and plenty of space for her laptop and place to write. She wanted an exercise ball for her chair and we got one that fits perfectly with the desk. I was amazed at how easy it was to assemble. Just make sure you follow the directions and it will be assembled in about 90 minutes like the directions state. As far as sturdiness goes I can’t say because I just put this together about six hours ago but it seems pretty solid. I certainly wouldn’t sit on it but it seems like it will serve its purpose. Especially for the price. If you’re looking for a great space saving and aesthetically pleasing desk... look no further!

Just What I Was Looking For
I had been looking for an inexpensive black corner desk with a smaller footprint to replace my old space-hogging desk/hutch in my living room. Most of the desks I found online had the same issues; poor quality, damage, etc., but this TMS desk seemed to have more positive reviews than others. I guess I was one of the lucky ones because my desk arrived with no damage at all. My friend put it together with no problem; he didn't have any problems with holes being unaligned, as some have complained. Yes, it isn't fine quality furniture, but it looks so much better than I expected and it is very sturdy. The drawer is much larger than I expected; I keep my iPad and my laptop charger and mouse in it, along with a few desk items like my stapler and a few supplies supplies -it is quite roomy, and it glides very easily. This desk fits into my corner perfectly and frees up space in my living room. It is exactly what I was looking for at exactly the right price..
