Buy cheap ..........!
There is a saying, "Buy cheap, buy twice !" . it usually refers to buying cheap and getting inferior, But thats not the case for these. I bought cheap and bought two. I reckoned they might last a few months, BUT now well over 18 months of use (upto 3 times a day EVERY day), they are going strong. why 2 ? because i often cook say steak in one and potatoes/chips in the other so different cooking times come out together. basic 5.5lt air fryer, temp knob and time knob and thats it, no bake/crisp/reheat/tap dance presets, no observation window, no voice prompt, tust set temp, set time, cook, pings and turns off at end. All you need. any cons ? yes one, the inner basket has the handle attached, so cooking minus basket isnt an option, i would have called perfect if the handle fitted to the draw making basket use optional, if i cook a joint i have to put a tin in the basket so meat cooks in its own juices, meaning i am cutting down capacity to 4.5 lt and restricts adding roast potato to the meat. a 1 kg roast fills a tin inside the basket inside the draw, basket rfee would give more room. but for the price I can live with it. would I recommend ? for a first airfryer YES, once used to it youm may think 2 for half the price of a big brand is a no brainer, or not, but definately a first toe in the water . with todays throw away electricals, some thing this cheap thats used daily 365 and keeps going is rare. and yes I MEAN 365 days, last xmass I cooked a medium 3 person + turkey crown in one while roasting a 1kg topside joint in the other, perfectly, infact my gas oven has been redundant the last year +.

Works well
Bought this from Amazon warehouse as new. In common with some other air fryers had a very strong plastic smell even after running for recommended 20 minutes. Followed a hint from internet and ran with a cup of half white vinegar and lemon juice mixture a couple of times which reduced smell considerably.Have used a few times, jacket potato did not cook through but microwaved first and used the air fry to crisp the skin was a success. Found the preset for chicken portions works well. Discovered that you can change the time and temperature settings as you cook. Useful if food cooks quicker than expected to reduce time to 1 minute or zero so the machine switches to off. Had this Air Fryer now for six months and it has performed well. My friend gave me an Air Fryer cookbook which had a lot of useful information on cooking times and temperatures. I have cooked beef steak, chicken thighs and garlic bread among other things which have been a success. A little trial and error might be needed at first but you can just open the draw to check progress. I have found the 5.5l to hve ample room.

Great air fryer!
Great air fryer! It cooks evenly, and I love how easy it is to clean—just a quick wipe-down, and it's good to go. The size is decent, and it works efficiently, making meals super convenient. My only wish is that it had two bins instead of one, as that would make cooking multiple things at once even easier.Overall, it's a fantastic air fryer that does the job well, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable kitchen gadget!

Game Changer
This is the first time I've written a review, but I'd like to report that I'm very pleased with the product. It wasn't too expensive, like some of the more well known brands, but I'm sure it functions just as well. It's been a game changer as I use it most days and I've hardly had to use my electric oven since I bought the air fryer last summer. I think it has save me quite a bit of electricity too and has probably already paid for itself.Unlike my electric oven, things actually tke the time it says to cook on the packet, which has been quite an eye opener.I like that it's squarish as it takes up the same amount of counter space as an oval/circular air fryer, but with more room inside the basket. There's enough capacity to cook a small chicken with a few roasties dottied around. However, the basket is just small enough to fit in the sink to soak after use, which is a bonus.I appreciate the two very simple, and quick to set, manual dials, so I don't have to faff around with programming it - and there's less to go wrong. If pushed, the only thing I would change would be the ability to move the timer dial backwards as well as forwards,. This probably wouldn't be big enough for a family, but it's perfect for one or two people.
