It is preservative free. You might try contacting GreenHealth about the MSDS. Not sure if you were really looking for a GC/MS report, but they are not done on hydrosols. It is a lovely hydrosol, I have ordered it more than once and have been very pleased.

Can it be used in a diffuser?

Hydrosols should not be used in diffusers.
