Good frame
The frame is good, the tags are not great tho, they pull threads and can leave bad holes in your fabrics. Try to find better tags

Light weight & easy to transport
I use this mainly to stretch silk for painting. Light weight and easy to transport. I use masking tape instead of the pins provided as they make holes when you have to stretch the fabric taunt- hence the score of 4

Easy storage when not used
Very big when expanded for big projects.I bought 2 sets which could cover a 8 seater dining table .Highly recommend.

Not so perfect
This frame seems like such a good idea, however, it's quite flimsy and doesn't provide tight enough stretching. The pins pop out of the frame and need to be fixed with painter's tape. I'm slightly disappointed, but I appreciate that the frame is adjustable for different sizes of scarves.

I love this thing
I love this thing. Easy to put together and use, not flimsy at all if used on a stable surface. Makes fabric painting so much easier, as you can leave your piece to dry and it gets plenty of air exposure.

The pins depreciate the whole product
The frame is great and it is what I expected very good, good material, however the pins are bad quality. I tried with 4 different types of silk, they damaged the 4 of them. The pins do not have a fine finish like a needle (like it used to be) and are very thick, they tore the seam of my scarves. Terrible quality. I cant find good quality pins at any specialized stores. Because this issue the whole purchase is worthless. A complete waste of my money.

Love this stretcher frame. I would suggest getting the extension kit also.

The pins... it doesn't work. (UPDATED)
The frame it self kinda works as it should. However I had to order a replacement because I obviously got a return as "new" the first time. Bars were bent and did not include the box of pin-claws.The second one came straight from Pebeo in NY and it was in perfect condition... Except for the pins. The pins are the worst, they make holes breaking the weave of the fabric. They are not sharp anymore and made of a cheap-looking material. Not at all what they used to be, check the picture. I would get the frame but get different pins if you want to keep your fabric in good condition.UPDATE!Unfortunately, it does not work. The holes on the bars do not align with the blue pieces making it difficult to fix them in position. The whole thing is very very flimsy and unstable. Due to the pins being made cheaply, they do not really hold the fabric as they should.I'm sure it was a good product back when it was well made. Not anymore.Too expensive for a product that doesn't work. I had to send it back. Would not recommend.I would suggest getting a slate frame or making one (cheaper). All you need are 4 wooden bars (more if you want a stand), some bolts or some kind of pin, upholstery fabric, staples and a driller. Get yourself a good picture or Google how to make one and voila!
