This toy was something I enjoyed as a child and I wanted to get one for my 12 year old son. We previously had a smaller one that had plastic needles, and they kept breaking and coming out. This one was such an upgrade! Great quality, nice , big size - you can fit an adult sized hand on it. The pins are metal and move smoothly, no bending or wiggling loose. Strong frame. I definitely recommend! Great gift idea for those who are tough to buy for. Nostalgic too ;) I only wish they came in an even larger size! And it would be cool if the pins could stay metal, but come in different metallic colors.

I bought this for a grandchild years ago. They loved it and everyone tried it out. Bought for b-day gifts or several othrs. Just bought it again for a great grandson.. It is a quiet toy, needs no batteries and uses their imagination.

I have a grandson that wanted something like this for Christmas, so we got this for him. Neither he nor his grandparents were disappointed either.

There a reason why every picture of pin art shows a hand. The pins just won't work trying to push much of anything else into them. Other than that the quality is great and it looks good.

This is similar to the plastic variety our family and grandchildren loved revisiting at our home. Eventually some of the plastic pegs broke off. For a birthday gift I side stepped a request and bought this instead. The look on my 10 year old grandson's face was priceless. He even said the word "quality" when evaluating it. The whole room of guests wanted to get their hands on it. I will probably buy one for myself.

Was like picture and description. Heavy...not cheaply made. Grandson was happy.

My nephew (age 11) was so excited to get this as a Christmas gift! It brought back memories of me always wanting one of these when I was young. He played with it the whole day.

I bought this model instead of the ones with plastic pins because of the good reviews and the perceived higher quality. It arrived quickly and well packaged, but there are a couple of things I don't like about it. The pins are actually pretty sharp, so you won't enjoy making imprints of your face. Also, quite a few of the pins are bent despite the good packaging, and the bent ones don't slide well. Next time I'll try a plastic model.
