Soft and comfortable. Purchased to protect against dust mites due to being asthmatic. Slides easily onto double mattress ( a task I thought would be more difficult on on my own but proved remarkably easy). Fitted perfectly. Does not make other bedding to slip or slide. Delivery was prompt. Would recommend product and company.

This is a must for allergy sufferers, as it actually has the high thread count you need to prevent the allergens from passing from the mattress to the person. The best test to check, is to put the fabric over your mouth and breathe in - it should be quite difficult to breathe in, as the fabric is finely woven, if you can easily get air it is loosely woven and will be no good.

Best mattress protector ever! Totally waterproof - wet bed, tea spillage and hot flushes. Nothing goes through it. It’s doesn’t make me feel hot either. You can stick a cheap soft one over the top if you don’t like the feel I guess. They do all the way up, totally covered, just find the correct way up first. Takes an age to dry, hang mine up to drip after it comes out of the machine. Have to make sure it’s fully dry inside. You can’t get it washed and back on in a day, not unless it’s boiling hot outside. Washed well, hot wash no problems. Only one I will get from now on.

Fits perfectly and encases the whole mattress. Doesn't make a sound when lying on it, just what I wanted to prolong the life of my mattress.

I was worried about the struggle that was forthcoming, trying to zip a cover over a mattress to stop the dust mite having a party ... however, it slid on quite easily and zipped up rather easily.I had tried AllergyUK.org for a recommendation, but their site was broken. After emailing them they came back with ACP Solutions (astexallergybedding.co.uk) with it's minute pore size of 5.9 microns and 10-yr guarantee, so perhaps I should have waited, but this encasement seems to do the job despite not mentioning pore size of a guarantee and ACP Solutions website was also broken and Amazon is so much easier to buy from. Perhaps the House of Emily could provide additional information on the pore size and other benefits.

Purchased this last week in readiness to put on my brand new mattress that came today. The mattress cover is silky smooth and a great feature is once you have zipped everything up, there is a Velcro strap that you press down over the zip. It’s great knowing I can go to bed each night knowing that the mattress is full sealed up and protected from any dust mites etc.You certainly need 2 people to put the cover on, the easiest way we found was to put the mattress down onto the bed base first, leaving a small gap towards the head board and then start to put the mattress cover on from the feet end of the mattress and with each person on either side of the mattress ,pulling the case up, lifting the mattress up as you go along until you reach the head area.Definitely worth the money.

Stretchy, snug-fitting, smooth, and strong, with some nice functional design touches.Easy to get on.Superior to all the ones I've previously tried, where the zips have given-way or the fabric has torn.No such problems here. Recommended.
