Easy to yse
This feeder takes a good amount. Not so much that you end up wasting but enough to last at my house. Very easy to clean and fill

Beautiful little secondary feeder with just a few slight modifications
This feeder is darling (even the name is cute). It's great to have as a 2nd or 3rd feeder for birds that are chased away from other feeders.Pros: Nice small size that doesn't use up tons of nectar. Very attractive. High-quality BPA-free plastic. Easy to clean and comes with a brush. Clear bottom makes it easy to see if it needs refilling or has too many bugs in it. Droll Yankees is a trusted name for a reason.Cons: Tilts slightly when hung; don't overfill it and be careful when you're snapping the lid on or else you'll have nectar splashing over. Hummingbirds seem to have a hard time finding the ports. The guides on the underside of the port are quite long and potentially worrying (see modifications below).Modifications: I noticed that hummingbirds would hover, look for ports, and give up. So I very carefully painted "flowers" with coral-colored nail polish around the openings--I made sure none was too close to the opening so it wouldn't seep into the port. After this, hummingbirds found the ports easily.I also modified the underside of the ports; the guided funnel was too long for my liking & I was concerned that a feeding hummingbird could get startled and have its beak caught as it tried to fly away (this does happen). I carefully filed down the sides each guide (see pictures), made sure they were smooth to the touch, and then rinsed & inspected them thoroughly to ensure there was no plastic debris. One last thing: to keep ants away, suspend this from an ant moat (Trap-It is a great one; Droll Yankees also makes a lovely one). Please do NOT coat the hanger with any substance, as I often observed hummingbirds perching on the hanger itself! (None of them used the beautifully sculpted perches on the feeder itself--oh well).Overall, this is a great little secondary feeder to place in a quiet spot away from your main feeder(s). The little birds that couldn't muscle their way into the larger feeders relied on this one.

Hummers like it
A different type of feeder leaked all the time. This one you don't ever tip it to get it to drain, since it is just a reservoir. It is for only a few birds. It does not hold all that much but it is plenty for my needs. No leakage, top stays on but is also easy to remove.

Effective Feeder
This feeder is very effective. It has had three separate hummingbirds feeding at it. It is also attracts Gila woodpeckers. It is a busy place. Feeder is very easy to clean and fill. Can’t go wrong with this one!

Really pretty
I love the look of this feeder and my hummers seem to like it too. Unfortunately bees and woodpeckers also like it. The woodpecker sits on top and drinks his fill. Very easy to clean and fill. Beautiful color. The little clear tap helps you ease the lid off with no difficulty.

A very unique design. EASY to clean/fill. Nice for places with fewer Hummers visiting
In the mid-Atlantic region I don't get throngs of Hummingbirds, so big capacity feeders often got spoiled nectar long before the birds could finish it. This one is a better size for the circumstances. I am NOT sure if the birds are seeing it this season (I also have a more conventional one hung with about 8 ounces in a 16 ounce glass tube); I don't have many good sites for feeders. I think modifications to make the feeding ports more apparent to the birds (and us) would be better - lots of people seem to find painting or marking the ports with some yellow, helps.

Not drawing in the customers.
We have 3 hummingbird feeders. Hummingbirds frequent the other two, but not this one. All are filled with the same food. My theory is that the "ruby red" color of this feeder is less attractive to the hummingbirds than the brighter red color of the other two feeders. If I were buying again, I would get the brighter red cover. Also this feeder is more difficult to handle ... to open, clean and refill without getting sticky food on your hands. Others we have are a little easier to handle. But we like the more artistic style of this one over the more utilitarian, but easier to use, alternatives.

Perfect feeder
This is the best feeder I have ever had. Easy to clean and refill I love it the only thing I will add is I had to paint small flowers over the holes so the hummingbird could get the feed they would fly up to it over and over and would leave with out a drink so I used liquid paper and put small flowers on top over the holes and I love that it is made in the USA

Not a very good feeder
Once the nectar, sugar water, gets below a certain level the birds cannot reach it. It does keep bees away also for that reason. But I go through a lot of nectar with this feeder. It is easy to clean though but not really a good product; especially for the price.

Love this feeder!
I’ve owned numerous types of hummingbird feeder’s over the years, including other easy to clean types like this with the top that pops off. However, the size of this one is perfect for hot, southern homes. It holds just enough for a couple of days, when you need to change it anyway to avoid mold, so you’re not wasting your hummingbird food.

Great little feeder
I really like this little hummingbird feeder. I especially like the size. Most hummingbird feeders hold too much liquid for the birds to make a dent in before it goes yeasty. Most hummingbird feeders waste a ton especially when one considers they are supposed to be changed daily to every couple of days. Make your solution with a one to four ratio of sugar to water. No red food coloring is needed and most hummingbird experts think it should be avoided.

Nice looking feeder
The hummingbirds haven’t figured this one out yet, though.
