OMGee...how did I not know these things existed?!? I was looking for bulbs intended for outdoor use since regular bulbs kept separating from the base in my outdoor fixtures. Found these and decided to get the 5000K daylight 75W equivalent since I had standard LED 60W equivalent before but they didn't quite light up the area well enough.Installed these and turned on the switch. The bulbs lit up and then a second later turned themselves off since it was still daytime. At dusk they turned back on. The 75W equivalent with 240-degree angle is bright and wide enough to illuminate the area without being obnoxiously bright. They have two sensors on opposite sides for light detection.I installed these in three outdoor lamps that do not have sightline of each other. I'm not sure how these work if you have several closer together; whether the light of one would trip the sensor of another into thinking it was daytime.I had been leaving my lights on 24/7. The constant energy consumption annoyed me but I never remembered to turn them on before leaving the house. I would end up trying to insert my key into the door in the dark by the light of my phone. These bulbs resolve that problem.I've only had them installed for a day but I love them so much I want to buy them for everyone I know.EDIT: I got a shop lamp and shined it directly at the sensor on the dusk-to-dawn bulb from one foot away. It did not turn off. I did it again with another dusk-to-dawn bulb in the shop lamp and neither turned off; so it looks like you could have a series of lights with these bulbs pretty close together and not have them affect each other.

Was always leaving the front light on and with this sensor in this light bulb you never have to worry about it. Turns itself on and turns itself off. 100% recommended

Super bright. I now don't have to worry about remembering to turn on the porch light at night if I'm out late. Had for a few months now and never have an issue with them. They always cut off during the day like they should. Highly recommend.

It does as it says. It has 2 light detectors and turns on at dusk. If you use more than 1, it does not have problems if one bulb turns on and the other doesn't. Give it a few minutes, and the light that triggers it on or off will likely make it change.

I wasn't sure how these light bulbs would handle our Canadian winters with -35 temperatures but they work perfectly and are automatically on from dusk to dawn! We have one of these bulbs outside of each of the front doors and have set up 4 of them outside my daughter's house and they all work great. They are very bright and light up the driveways very well. The photo shows the driveway lit up at night with this bulb. It would be pitch black without it and using other bulbs was not nearly as bright. I definitely recommend these and though it's only been a couple of months I would buy them again if they would stop working at this point. Now I don't have to worry about forgetting to turn the outside light on before we leave and it feels much safer coming home after dark. (I bought the Daylight ones which I will stick with. I think Sengled may have Warm option as well).These are very long-lasting light bulbs! It's over 2 years later now and they're still shining just as brightly. I definitely will buy more of this exact same brand from this seller when these eventually burn out!

Excellent bulbs!!! I was just about to install more outdoor dusk-to-dawn sensors on my backyard lights when I came across these bulbs. I have outdoor sensors I installed over 20 years ago on the front of my house and I had to modify the vinyl siding to install them, plus the 120v wiring. Thankfully technology is finally catching up with life. No more trying to find a location to install bulky sensors, or buying sensor fixtures.Installed late afternoon and I thought there may be an issue with my outdoor fixtures blocking the sensors as they were on right away, but the next day they operated well. They come on about 1/2 hour before sunset and although I'm not up to see them turn off, they are off during daylight.Some state @ 75w Incandescent equivalent and 1200 Lumens they are too bright but no complaints here. My neighbors appreciate the extra night-time light on their properties. I probably could have gotten away with 100w equivalent bulbs.These 15w LED bulbs light up about 50' from my fixtures. I have one ground-level in a sunken stairwell (about 4-5' above ground), and one beside my deck at the top of the stairs (about 13' above ground).Very pleased with the 5000k Daylight blue light and brightness.They do not interfere with my IR security camerasRecommended for sure.

Perfect amount of light. Always found 60W too dull and 100W too bright these 75 W equivalent fit the bill.

Haven't had an issue since installing. The light sensor could be adjusted as they sometimes take a litlle longer to turn off on foggy overcast days, but that could be the location of one too.
