Good quality
Oh this is a good book. The step by step instructions are spot on. I use this book with face paint paint for my granddaughter. She asks me every day to do a face paint for her. Pictures are vivid and lots to choose from. Add or change the colors of the examples is fun too! You'll be a hit!

It has the most colorful illustrations and an easy guide to follow along and create wonderful looks. With a to do guide to make your friends and family feel special at any event or party get together. Safe for all ages and easy to read and understand for kids and adults. Good facepainting book
If you are new to face painting, but somewhat artistically inclined, this book will give you plenty of example of mostly-full-face designs you can try. All designs are pretty involved, and take time and patience (on both sides) to accomplish. Definitively better for older kids. My 3.5 yo has no patience to sit still for minutes at the time while I try to get one done, so there is a lot of frustration on both sides. If you are looking for a book with simpler designs that can be accomplished quickly this is not it, especially if you are not very skilled with a paintbrush. Otherwise it is a pretty good book with step by step instructions. Among the designs: several butterflies, snake, bunny, pirate, dog, cat, dragon, dolphin, tiger, vampire, princess, dinosaur, rainbow, lion, zombie, batman, giraffe, robot, skull, witch...

Thought it would have more casual designs or cheek designs. It does provide good tips in the front of the book for new face painters like myself, so I do appreciate the information. I also like the step by step pictures, I just wasn't crazy about the all-over face designs in general. Good guide for beginners.

Great for the specific patterns and helpful with strokes
This book I give 5 starts, I was hoping for more info on the stroke marks but it does tell you step by step how to do the specific designs so it has helped with it in a round about way… it also gives lots of helpful hints which is great

I couldn't be happier with this book... honestly, step by step over 30 faces they all seem super simple (even the "hard" or advanced level ones) I will definitely be watching for more face painting books like this. & I'm taking this to my first event with me (it is my step sons birthday) My daughter (13) has also done up some faces just using make up with the help of this book IT IS WORTH IT!!!
