The media could not be loaded. This is the 2nd ROKR I have pieced together. The first was the Marble Run. The puzzles are so incredibly and intricately designed, it blows my mind to even think about their designers. HOLY GUACAMOLE! I learned from the 1st puzzle NOT to release any pieces from a panel, until you are ready to build the next step. Moreover, if you have to build 3 (or more) of the exact same feature (i.e. in this one three are 3 airplanes), build them one at a time in order to keep the pieces straight as to what goes where. When you are finished building the 1st feature, follow the exact same instructions for the 2nd and so on, until finished with that step.The schematics are equally well-designed but demand a bit of a learning curve, especially if you are not used to following their guide. It would be well-worth the study before you begin. These puzzles demand both focus-n’-patience. So, take your time. Enjoy the process. When you finally arrive at the end product, it’s done—the playtime is over. Reiterating: Enjoy the processes involved in piecing it together. And, if you happen to make a goof—“Patience Little Grasshopper”—goofs can be resolved. Well, I acted to resolve a goof (or three) of my own. Also, ascertain that you have a clean working space. I should have known better than to attempt to piece this together out in my garage workshop, because my workbench and shop floor were anything but cleared-n’-cleaned. Consequently, when a piece or two got out of my hands and went flying, I was literally on my hands-n’-knees brush-sweeping the floor to locate the “gone flying” piece. I got lucky.Where I failed to get lucky was when almost everything was pieced-n’-pressed, and I was attempting to hang the last airplane on its hook, and the hook broke off at the end. No kidding! (BE CAREFUL WHEN HANGING THE PLANES!!!) It would not have made any difference if an extra would have been supplied, because I would have had to take almost the whole thing apart to replace that compromised piece. So, I simply shaped another arm-n’-hook (from the leftover panel wood) and glued that to the existing arm. (Picture provided). As you can clearly view by the video provided, the puzzle works beautifully.Oh! That dog barking in the background (Yup! That one!) He obviously felt the need to accompany the little tune emanating from the music box.

My 7 year old son built this together and loved every minute. Be extra careful to follow the directions or you'll find yourself dismantling it to install the part left out. The directions say it takes 3 hours to complete, well I admit it took us three days to finish it. We have about 12 hours into it. The gearing works perfectly and the three beautifully crafted biplanes circle the base as the music chimes. Buy it, it's worth every penny.

I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my teen niece. It was slightly challenging, but also "relaxing" for her to assemble, and looks great! It does work, however, it has a tiny snag as it goes around and requires a little assistance to continue around. I would definitely purchased this, or similar items again.

As with others by Rokr the instructions are very detailed and easy to follow. The cut quality is great so that you don't have to worry about breaking the smaller parts when separating them from the sheet. There are plenty of extra parts cut for the parts that they felt are subject to being damaged/broken when removing them from the sheet or installing them on the model. I wish the music box portion had a longer run time but for the price it doesn't loose any stars for that desire

I love the design & ease of assembly but trying to play the music box was a disaster. It started to unassemble itself. I took it apart & tried gluing it together but it doesn't turn very well.

This is so adorable. We still need to get the other ones in the series to do some day I hope to be able to get them. It brought back. Memories of being small and playing at the carnival.

its amazing to look at, it's a good working piece for the husbands or boyfriends who like to salve puzzles, My husband loves it and so does our son, he loves watching it move and the song is so nice and calming to listen too. I can't wait to get more of these wood puzzles music box.

The grandkids absolutely love these wood puzzles. I try to stay with the ones that are inter-actable rather than just a decoration.

Gears get stuck very easily. I have to move it by hand constantly. Not happy with the purchase at all.
