Good product. Great price. But beware.
Bought remotes to replace existing damaged remotes. I gave it 5 stars because of the quality, quantity, and great price for the set of 2. Now, the beware part. I have a technical backround and had much difficulty removing the electronics from my existing remotes to insert into the new remotes. Factory Kia remote casings are partially epoxied shut and you will need to destroy your existing casing(s) in order to remove its thin circuit board. Doing so without damaging the circuit board is not an easy task. Also, you will need the new key blanks cut or replace with your existing cut keys. Unfortunately, your existing cut keys will not fit the new remotes key housing slots. I needed to modify the new remotes key housing with a hobby rotary drill so it would accept my thicker existing cut keys. Next, you will need to understand how the spring mechanism allows your key to pop up when you push the button or it will not work when you assemble your new remote. Buyer will need to correctly place spring into the proper slots and twist the key button one rotation counter clockwise while holding casing carefully into place. Next, hold top portion together with your fingers and test key release button to verify it works correctly. If so, the next step is to carefully make sure the circuit board is in the correct position before snapping the bottom portion of the remote closed without damage to electronics. Do not snap remote casing together until you're sure it is correctly in place because you will need the jaws of life to open again without damaging the new remote casing. Lastly, insert battery and test on your vehicle before inserting the case screw. Please note that your existing remote didn't have a case screw but did have a Kia emblem plate glued over the area where epoxy was used instead of a case screw. If removed carefully, the old Kia emblem plate can be lightly glued in place over the new remotes case screw and look just like the factory remote when completed. I completed both remotes and they look and function like new remotes. In closing, this remote replacement has a difficulty rating of 9, with 10 being extremely difficult. Best of luck.

Great quality
Was quoted $400-$600 by Kia to replace/fix my key fob. Was able to easily replace for less than $10. Took less than 10 mins. Looks just like the original and works great! I highly recommend

perfect and easy
perfect fit and really easy to repair. parts are exactly like original ones that came with my 2013 Kia Soul new. plenty of videos online on how to take apart and reassemble. best way is to use a snap ring pliers that spread open when squeezed. there is an opening at the base of the swing out key to put the tips in and squeeze and the fob pops right open. I did it in a freezer bag just in case parts came flying out which they did not. circuit pop just lifted out and slipped into the slots in the new fob with no issues. the spring and hub on the key will only go in one way. Look at it closely and it is easy to figure out if you didn't pay attention to how you removed it as I didn't. It is easier than I thought it would be after watching a few videos on how to do it. Some made taking it apart more difficult than it has to be. Took me 15 minutes tops to do. So, it cost me 15 minutes and $5.00 per fob to repair when dealer wanted $250.00 for one replacement fob, yes $250.00... These are a great deal. I have never replaced one before doing this one. Super easy and a great money saver. I would recommend to anyone who's rubber buttons had worn out and off as mine did after 11 years.

So glad I bought this product! It doesn’t fit exactly like the manufacturer key but it’s amazing and super affordable! It was so easy to change and it’s easy to use!

Requires you to get the key blank machined
I bought this fob because the key pad on mine wore out. I just planned on switching my key and the guts into this housing. This does not fit the OEM key. I made mine fit but had to do a lot of work with a file and press the pin out of the blank to use in the OEM key because the OEM key has a bigger pin that doesn't fit in this. What a PITA.

Very convenient:
I was so thrilled to be able to find these online at Amazon ,I was able to transfer it over to my old fob and it worked perfectly without any programming I think it's an awesome product, the only problem I see with these fobs the rubber breaks and it wears out pretty fast, if they could make the rubber harder I think that would be a better product ,but I'm thankful to have them this is my second time ordering them.

Great but watch a how-to video
Works great as a replacement for my old key fob. I was so nervous about switching the keys but I found a good tutorial on YouTube and got it done in just a few minutes. The mini screwdriver definitely came in clutch, I recommend it.

Help!
