Stunningly great
If you've ever lost a cherished loved one, especially a parent, then the metaphor that unfolds fully and finally in Episode 6, will hit you hard, and in unexpected ways. I enjoyed the creepy Season 1, but it lacked emotional resonance. Season 2 delivers way more emotional resonance than you are ready for...that is, if you have a soul residing somewhere within you.John Carroll Lynch deserves recognition for what he has done in this role. I didn't see it coming, but he absolutely devastates in Episode 6 after terrifying in the previous few. The lead actressplaying Margot, Amy Forsyth, is also nothing short of a revelation here. Her chemistry with Lynch is complicated and fascinating. This is, quite simply, one of the best short series I have seen in this new "golden era" of television. Kudos to all involved. To all potential viewers, do yourselves a favor and give this a chance. It is nothing like what you're expecting.

My Favorite Season of Channel Zero
Great story! All of Channel Zero's content was exceptional, it's really a shame they were canceled.

An excellent second season of an underrated show
Like most everyone else on the internet, I was skeptical about Channel Zero, and the idea of turning short internet horror fiction into a television series. While Season 1 was a little rough at parts, Season 2 feels much more cohesive and focused, instead turning into some genuinely great horror television. The actual 'creepypasta' itself is contained mainly to the first episode, while the rest of the season ventures out into the implications of a No-End House and the world it creates. The house itself is used mainly as a vehicle for a father-daughter story, a story about friendship after loss, and an exploration about the nature of grief and memories. Probably not a lot of the themes viewers were expecting, but interesting and engaging enough to make it a great watch.

A good story marred by improbably foolish characters.
I didn't enjoy season two quite as much as season one, but it was still pretty good. The main drawback, common to many horror movies and stories, is that characters will do foolish and improbable things. I understand the author's desire to move the plot along by having characters do various things to heighten the tension, but the actions need to seem believable (at least for that character). If an apparently intelligent characters suddenly begins to do foolish things, readers need to be clear on why this change has occurred. Unfortunately, there are several places where characters seem to lose intelligence as a means of moving the plot forward in a scary direction.

Thanks for bringing Francis and Freddy back!
Surprisingly good! Like, really good. Like, the morning after I had finished watching it I noticed a new house in the neighborhood. I went inside and there were all sorts of weird sculptures, and then a couple more rooms and then I was outside again.. But now my dead hamsters are back in my house and they keep trying to get me to remember things for some reason? They asked me to remember my... huh... The one time me and... hmm, what was I talking about?Oh well, doesn't matter.10/10. Francis and Freddy are back in my life. Where do they keep getting those pomegranate seeds?

Good psychological story, not necessarily scary
As a lover of scary and creepy stories I was a little skeptical of Channel zero. I picked up season one on a whim and even though it had its faults i enjoyed it and was excited to find season 2. Season two was almost a different kind of show. The first episode had its moments of creepiness but overall at the end of the season i just felt...sad. It wasn't really scary or creepy you just felt kinda sad for the characters.I binged it in one sitting and don't really feel a need to re watch it, ever.Hopefully season three with bring it back for me.

Tense, eerie, moving, and unbelievably good from start to finish
Very possibly the best piece of horror film or television I’ve seen in several decades of being a genre fan. Far too often gore, jump scares, and franchise potential are accepted as substitutes for putting believable characters and relationships the viewer cares about in shattering danger. Even when a horror film manages to dodge these pitfalls, somehow the ending almost always manages to piss the potential away down its leg, like some involuntary genre tic. This isn’t that. This is the real deal. If you don’t like it, you’ve been in the House too long.

Fantastic hidden gem. Horror and psychological drama fans need to watch this!
This is a fantastic horror series. Unlike the far better know (and in my opinion, but less effective) American Horror Story (AHS), Channel Zero is subtle, creepy, and unnerving. It gets under your skin and posses really disturbing questions about reality and human nature. This is serious horror but it is also a lot of fun; just not fun in a deliberately campy, over the top way like AHS. I highly recommend it to both horror fans but also to those who enjoy surrealism and dark drama (think Twin Peaks).

Diese Serie war ein Geschenk zu Weihnachten und wurde völlig abgefeiert!Sie wurde mir als eine Mischung aus "The Returned" und "Akte X" beschrieben.
