I'm young and hip (!), but I guess I'm a traditionalist and like standard puzzle pieces. That said, however, I don't order puzzles based on the shape of the pieces; I order them because I like their images, so it's something I'm willing to put up with to get the puzzle I want, even though I very much prefer traditional locking puzzle pieces.And:(2) The current photograph shows this image as WAY brighter and more vividly colorful than exists on the actual puzzle. Kim Jacobs is known for using the softest, lightest colors in her art, and this is a beautiful and serene scene, but I just don't want anyone to be excited to receive such a colorful puzzle image and be disappointed that it's very light. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Difficult, Challenging. *by S***H on March 6, 2014* This puzzle was a real challenge. The pieces are uniquely shaped (birds, flowers, arrows, etc) and many times the pieces lie nextto each other rather than interlock. The faded watercolor colors added to the difficulty. The finished product was absolutely beautiful, but then I love Kim Jacobs' artistry. I tried to glue the puzzle because I wanted to save it, but I didn't have any successbecause the odd-shaped pieces kept falling out. Nevertheless, I enjoyed doing this puzzle. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice puzzle, but a not my favorite approach *by P***A on June 12, 2013* Very nice picture and the reproduction quality is excellent. The pieces are on fairly thin paperboard, but it is very sturdy and I had no peeling of the layers. The pieces are nicely sized and easy to handle. I really like the "whimsy" pieces - pieces shaped like animals and other things. What I do not like is the number of pieces that do not interlock. This makes it VERY difficult to move small sections of the puzzle within the frame to place them.
