Boots were previously used
I received my boots in obviously used condition. There was mud on the soles and scuffs on the leather

Great fit, very comfortable.
My brother's been buying these same boots for years and won't try anything else for work (he's in construction). He raves about the sturdiness, comfort, and support for his arches. Insists they are well worth the money.

Overall good work boot
The fit is good , they're very comfortable even with long work days . Only issue I have had is that they pull down my normal long socks and I had to order boot socks for them . Otherwise they are an overall good work boot .

So Far So Good. Will Update With Changes.
I'm a big fan of Timberland Pro boots in terms of price, quality and comfort. My first pair of Timberland boots were the 6" Resistors. They still have plenty of life in them, but I kind of want them as a backup boot now. This time I decided to go with the 8" Boondocks.Let's talk about sizing. I'm usually a size 13 in most shoes. Timberland Pro boots can run large. The Resistors I have are a size 12, but I ordered them wide, as I have wide feet. Overall, the Resistors fit fine, but I felt like I could have gone with a 13 and they also felt too wide. So, for the Boondocks, I went with 13 M and they are on the money! I would say order your regular size and if you have a wide foot, consider trying both the medium and wide widths to see what works best for you. If you usually wear extra wide, probably go with the wide.Right out of the box, you get the comfort you would expect from Timberland and they feel somewhat broken in already, so they are ready to go. In terms of weight, I don't think they are that heavy for 8" composite toe boots. I'm a commercial electrician that works in all kinds of terrain, on my feet all day, and the weight doesn't bother me at all, but if you work in a warehouse environment or are a delivery driver, boots like these might be overkill.I'll update this review if I find anything else worth mentioning or if they begin to fail prematurely, but overall, I am happy with these boots and I highly recommend them.
