Hill Of Fire (I Can Read, Book 3) (I Can Read Level 3)

A bit of history made vivid
This easy-to-read book is lively and realistic, with a thread of humor running through it from start to finish. When I was about ten, my mother told me the story of the Paracutin volcano in Mexico, and the idea of it stuck in my mind ever after. Now here is a book that recounts her story as literature. It should capture the attention of all children who read it.

Easy to read TRUE story!
As we were studying volcanoes in our homeschool we had already read about the "Hill of Fire" so I was delighted to find a children's book dedicated to this story and easy enough for our kids to read on their own as well as with us.Highly recommended for all family libraries.

Fantastic!
At our school we had a week around helping others affected by natural disasters and had a week full of activities to help raise up money for this cause. My Kindergarten students were very involved and interested and I had read very good reviews about this book somewhere else. So I bought it here and I do not regret it. This book just opened up the door to more interesting class activities. You will like it!

An old favourite
I bought this book for my grandchildren as it was one of my own children's favourites 30 years ago. It has had the same response from them.
