Updating my review for this as the problem was solved after changing a car fuse, the installation was straightforward just follow the video instruction here on amazon from the vendor, and everything was set up in less than 20 minutes, the fit is amazing on my Passat b6 2007, looks as an original part of the car, even the buttons light up in red color as the rest of the instruments in the car which really gives that OEM look to the unit.For the comments that reply that the unit drains the battery as it does not turn itself off, the orange and red cable that has a plug needs to be unplugged, when using the canbus, talking about the canbus this one is great it needs to be configured for use with the vehicle, (very easy just an 8888 password and select the vehicle from a list), that lets use the controls on the wheel as well as see in the screen additional information while you drive, as driving speed, light on, etc.Android is version 10, unit is very fast and fluid to work, the apps are a little outdated, youtube won't work without updating it, but the good thing is google play store is available, so updating the apps or getting new ones is pretty simple,People complain about navigation, was definitely not a problem for me, took some time for google maps to download offline routes, but after that, it works like a charm.I don't have/use the rear camera function, but a con here is that no matter whether you use it or not the unit will put the screen black when activating reverse in the car, the shift is fluid and fast but is a little annoying as it turns the music off, so this feature should be optional somehow.

Installed into my mk5 Jetta easily.I noticed the volume was insanely low even at max output. I don't care for Bluetooth calls so I take away that permission when setting up head units. This unit will not let media play via Bluetooth it the permission for calls isn't granted.It reset itself randomly two times. Really inconvenient to have to do all your settings and Google account multiple times.A month or so ago the screen stopped working in a particular horizontal line across the screen. I did a hard reset as well as a factory reset. It didn't help at all. I contacted the seller and they asked for a video of the issue. I tried to sent the video but it wouldn't let me send because of the file size. After compressing the file size amazon messenger didn't support mp4 file types..Fast forward over a week, I found the seller on Facebook and sent them the video. They suggested I take the unit apart to inspect the ribbon cable to the screen itself. I told them I wasn't comfortable doing that and they have since ignored my messages.I asked them for a refund or a replacement... either is okay with me.Stay away from these crooks! Their product is trash as well as their customer service!

Great little system. Sound is a bit dull due to the 45w per speaker built in amp. Great buy nonetheless

For the money, this is a great deal. I was able to install it in less than a 20 minutes and this is my very first attempt. In a nutshell, this is an Android tablet in a car stereo.The only complain is that the microphone is not working. Can't figure it out why and for that reason, I am giving it 4 starts.** Update: after contacting MenkedeTech support, I was able to resolve microphone issue. It was error on my end, I forgot to plug in provided microphone in the wiring harness. BTW, support is great, they responded promptly and helped me to resolve the issue. Updating review to 5 starts.

1-Ok. The good things: The stereo is very nice. The installation it's very easy, just plug and play the plugs.. the sound it's good quality. I connected with bluetooth, and hotspot wifi. I can download apps from play store, like in my android phone.2- Bad things: No manual installation in the box. The touch screen it's not very sensitive in the angels. The offline gps map dosen't work, at list to me.About the problem the stereo stay On , when you turn off the car, you should connect the canbus anyway, even if you car doesn't have wheel drive controls, and disconnect the red & orange wire clipped.CONCLUSION:It's worth for 100$ .

2008 VW Jetta. Don’t buy this thing. The volume is way to loud on the lowest possible setting. The radio reception is terrible, the volume is never on the number setting it was when I turn off the car and re start the car. The radio stations change on there own at random times
