**Q: Could this do a solid stainless steel rivet 1/8 diameter 1/2 in long?**
A: James, No,  the tool has a capacity for solid rivets of up to 1/8" in Aluminum only. More than likely you'd need an Air Tool or press with 6,000 pounds of pressure minimum.

**Q: Will this squeeze 1/8 steel semi tubular rivets?**
A: Yes - very easily!

**Q: What is the maximum size solid copper rivet that this tool will squeeze? Thanks**
A: The tool is rated up to 1/8" solid Aluminum, so 3/32" Copper.

**Q: can the dies be used in either location?**
A: Yes, the dies can be used in either location.  The dies come separate and you can buy different sizes of dies too.  I needed a specific size of dies for my rivet

The tool seems to be very sturdy, but it is missing the dies needed to go against the two sides of the rivet. For a newbie it was confusing trying to figure out which dies I then needed to order. - it makes sense to need to order the required dies for the specific rivet you want to use but it wasn’t clear to me when I ordered the tool.
