It said 2lb, but actually it is light. Easy to carry and includes everything you need for beginners. Can’t wait to go fishing next month when camping beside a lake

One of the line guides on the rod was loose and another was glued in the wrong spot. Sent the rod/reel combo back and received another rod with another bad line guide. Also, the second reel I received had a problem with the bail......it wouldn't always open all the way without giving it an extra tug.

If you're new to fishing like my this will be a great setup for you. Decent price for what it comes with. It doesn't feel cheap like a lot of the Amazon ones.It has a bit of weight to it. The reel is a lefty or righty you just gotta swap it. Also came with a lot of lures to play with, alot I can't use down here, but that okay.Telescopic style so you don't gotta take three pieces apart just twist and it folds in on itself.
