Great petticoats at a low price
I love this petticoat so much. I came back and ordered 4 more, and will order a couple more here soon so I have all the colors I need. I have told several friends about this brand because of its low price and good quality, and they have purchased some as a result. The tulle is somewhat stiff but never scratchy, and the underskirt/slip is nice. I did have to cut a slit in the underskirt/slip (on this one in particular for some reason, but not the other colors I bought) so it didn't feel like a tight pencil skirt, but I just cut along the seam and it was fine. I wear these under my Cowcow skater dresses for some extra fluff and flair.ETA: I now own 7 of these petticoats. I might have a problem. I do want to mention that the last two I purchased, in navy and fuchsia, are not as flawless as the first ones I purchased. Both have loops of plastic sticking out from the hems in a couple of places, which I can't seem to tuck back in, and the fuchsia one in particular already has a tiny rip. It's pretty insignificant, though, especially considering they are so cheap compared to other petticoats I've purchased that have far worse damage to them from minor incidents. Also, the black petticoat was the only one I felt a need to cut a slit in the slip. The rest of them fit more comfortably without adjustments. I don't know if this was just a weird coincidence, or if I accidentally got the wrong size in that one (despite ordering them all in XL/XXL), but they all look and fit the same otherwise.

Great for those with hips!
I was iffy about the sizing as I'm in the upper end of the small and lower end of the large but decided on a S/M going by the chart provided because I'd rather have this type of clothing a little snug as opposed to lose - who wants to lose their crinoline when they're dancing, right? I wear a US 10-12 in pants (sometimes 14 depending on the cut) and this was perfect for me. Its snug enough to add some shaping to my mid section but not be confining and the length is perfect for the dress I bought it to pair with. I love the high waist that is smooth to mid hip as compared to those that start fluffing out at the top, for someone like me who already has hips too much fluff can kill the entire outfit and I find myself always trying to smooth it down from the top. It does sit pretty high on my mid section as I'm only 5'4 and have a short waist but can be moved up if needed for a slightly shorter skirt. It does come extremely wrinkled being packaged in a mesh zipper bag (thanks for that!) but I hung it in the bathroom for a couple of days while showering and spritzed it with a wrinkle remover then straightened it by hand and got most of it out, a light iron will do the rest.I was actually so pleased with this that I went back and ordered the purple. I plan on ordering more colors. I received it within 2-3 days by using my Prime account so I cant attest to regular shipping but I definitely recommend this if you have hips as opposed to the other styles unless you like the poofy effect coming from your waist line.

tight elastic
I ended up ordering (4) different sizes of this item from (3) different sellers to find the right fit. I ordered gray each time and they all seemed essentially identical in materials, construction and color.By the size charts, I'm at the top end of size S/bottom end of size M. I'm a pear-shaped size 8/M in most brands with the sort of waist to hip ratio that can make buying pants a challenge. At least for me, that issue carried over to this item. After trying versions labeled M, M/L, L and XL, I ultimately settled on the XL.The waistbands in the three smaller sizes were all uncomfortably tight and created lumps that aren't normally there. The XL waistband is a little bit too big but the rest of the slip coupled with the size of my hips/rear seem like they'll work together well enough to keep this from falling down.I wouldn't say that the sizing is inaccurate as much as I feel like the elastic used could stand to have some extra give to it. Certainly the smaller sizes that were supposed to fit me did fit, just not to my liking. The other upside to going larger is that it gave me some extra length. I'm 5'9 and my dress goes just past my knees. I can comfortably wear the XL lower on my hips if I want the petticoat to show out the bottom of my dress.

Like a push-up bra for full dresses
If you're into the vintage/retro look, you may have encountered different petticoats and crinolines (the puffy things that make skirts bell out). Some petticoats are made with a soft tricot knit, and others are made of that awful Halloween Superstore crunchy s*** that feels rough and irritating like breadcrumbs on bedsheets. Where does this product fit? To me, this is the Rolls Royce of petticoats. This is made of a lovely quality taffeta that has a crisp drape to it. The inside is lined with a stretchy slinky knit that glides over your legs and buffers against the taffeta. That underskirt makes this way better than most of the products out there. The end result is a petticoat that supports a sturdy dress for hours and does not go flat on one side if you sit for a while. Dresses have a flowy movement to them with this underneath--not overly perky and bouncy the way a square dance petticoat moves, but more smooth and elegant.Caveat: this is shipped flat in a lingerie bag, which is pretty awesome if you like sustainable/reusable packaging. However, because it is shipped flat, all the lovely ruffles are also very flat. The remedy to this is to steam it with a garment steamer, or if you prefer, an iron set to taffeta or nylon heat. All those creases and wrinkles will fall away and leave a very impressive, very sizeable and very pretty petticoat. If you do not own an iron or a garment steamer, this might not be the product for you.
