US Military Coyote Brown Molle II Fighting Load Carrier FLC

I bought this so I could use it for Army training and didn't want to wear my plate carrier for long distances. So far so good. It feels a little loose but it has held up for multiple exercises. The MOLLE webbing is strong but I do wish that there was a little more room for the MOLLE webbing up front, but that is with most FLCs.

Not much to say. A basic load carrying vest that offers great space to attach a variety of molle/PALS webbing pouches, route hydration tubes and comms wires. Not the most expensive, or "Gucci" piece of equipment, but definitely dependable and feature rich.

The product is shown as looking like an exact replica of the standard issue USMC vest with coyote brown hardware. The product that ships has black zipper, black clasps, black d-rings, etc. So if you are buying this to replace an issued vest go to ebay and get a surplus one. I contacted shipper and their entire inventory is like this.I substracted 1 star for wrong color hardware.1 substracted an additional star because the PALs webbing wasn't properly spaced towards the far edge of the vest where the front transitions to to back area and there was less than 1" between spaces meaning the molle didn't probably thread through. Luckily I had extra malice clips that are thinner than the molle straps on an army issued canteen holder so I was still able to attach.I would return based on the color and quality control issues but I got it used on a discount so it isn't worth the hassle. However there is no way I would pay full price for this.

You know the routine. Durable, disperse the weight with pouches in front. I used mine for a backpacking rigging with medic pouches in front for my toothbrush. Poncho in a waist pack in back. Wearing ECWCS rain gear, fleece x2 layering?

MILITARY BRANCHES HAVE BEEN USING CHEST RIGS FOR SOME TIME. THE NEW STUFF BEING UTILIZED HAS NOTHING ON THIS THING. IF YOU DON'T LIKE FORCING YOURSELF TO DON ALL YOUR MISSION CRITICAL GEAR WHEN ALL YOU NEED IS A FLAK, THIS THING IS FOR YOU. A RESPECTABLE AMOUNT OF MOLLE TO ATTACHED ENOUGH LBE TO FOR THE BASIC INFANTRYMAN. ADJUSTABLE ENOUGH TO WEAR OVER ANY ARMOR SYSTEM THAT I HAVE RUN IN TO (OTV, MTV, PLATE CARRIER OR OTHERWISE). COMFORTABLE ENOUGH UNDER CONSIDERABLE LOAD WHEN ADJUSTED CORRECTLY OVER ARMOR OR OTHERWISE. DURABLE...BEEN BEATING MINE UP FOR ABOUT A YEAR NOW; STILL GOING STRONG. WOULD RECOMMEND FOR INFANTRY APPLICATION. AFFORDABLE TOO.

Matches well with OCP and fully functional, not new is slightly used.

It's hard to beat a military surplus vest like this one. This is a quality product, made in the USA, and works perfectly with all my MOLLE gear. The vest was brand new in the bag. I recommend it to anyone looking to run a MOLLE vest platform.
