The dogs loved this food! Even though we already fed good food, we added it slowly and didn’t have any tummy troubles with any of the dogs. They seem to assimilate this better than our previous food and there’s less to 💩 to clean up! With three dogs between 75 & 110 pounds, a “bulk” buy option would be great! Would have given 4 stars for the cost- but we understand the price and it’s worth it- we just have a lot of “dog” to feed.

I have a German shepherd puppy and he does not like this food because it has a strong fishy smell to it. The bag I received was 4 pounds so great for smaller dogs or puppies but a bigger bag would be helpful for larger dogs. I have two yorkies as well and they will eat this food, but they are not picky. The ingredients are great I just wish it was less scented with fish so my dog would eat it.

Lovely formulae. Mouth-watering aroma...unfortunately, this otherwise great dog food contains peas...peas are linked to all sorts of cardio dis-eases and endocrine probs. Please drop the peas so that I can recommend this product to my puppy people!

Not sure what and why , but both my doggies hated this food. I gave it away after a few weeks of them refusing to eat it. Super expensive waste of money for me.

I usually give my pooch Blue Buffalo dog food. However, when offered this, I thought I would give it a try. I personally haven’t given him tons of it, just a handful or two as a treat, but plan to blend it in with his regular food (to prevent stomach upset). He seems to like the smell (it is a little fishy to me) which makes sense because it contains lamb (free-range New Zealand Lamb) and fish. There are some additional vitamins and ingredients: basic, oregano, rosemary, thyme, cranberries, papaya, mango and apples. 93% of the protein comes from the lamb and fish. It is gluten and grain free. It does not contain artificial preservatives, colors or flavors. Overall, I think this is a very solid dog food if they like it. But I will warn you, while I know Blue Buffalo is a little pricey, this retails on Amazon for $18 for 4lbs. The next time I am in the pet store I will see if they offer it and at what price point. And finally, this product was produced in New Zealand by Wish Bone, who are inspired by their love for their pets.
