Converted Buddha pump to work with medala parts
I used a medala pump during my first pumping journey and this time went baby Buddha. I still had all of my medala flanges so was looking for a part to convert and this works well. I still have just as great pumping output as I did with the Buddha flange and bottles

Let us use Medela flange set with Spectra
We had a custom fit 16mm Medela flange set to pump at the hospital Medela pump. Wanted something so that we can use these flanges at home with Spectra S2 plus pump. This product helps us to do exactly the same without compromising suction power. Absolutely recommend this product if your requirement is same.

No more hack needed!!!
I have used a Medela PIS for the past 3 children and though I have wanted a Spectra, I finally got around to getting one on my 4th pregnancy. In my area I can't find Spectra parts unless I order online and I already had a lot of Medela parts and a system for pumping I liked. I had seen multiple videos and tutorials on how to hack the Spectra to fit Medela parts and then found this. It fits perfectly. I use the personal fit system with 27mm flanges and have no trouble. I don't lose suction, the fit is snug but not tight, and I'm so satisfied it all works without needing to hack anything. The box comes with 2 adapters ready to be plugged into your Medela flange set up and hooked up to your Spectra tubing. Nothing else is required to get everything to work. The back flow preventir comes apart for cleaning easily. Would definitely recommend this rather than trying to hack the Spectra.

They do what they are supposed to
These are really great and work perfectly with Medela personal fit parts!I have these backflow protectors as well as the Spectra ones with the little yellow adapters for the Medela.I did now know these existed when I bought the adapters. I would say if you are planning on using Medela flanges only, I would prefer using these over the original backflow protectors with the adapters, mostly because it's a simpler set up and easier to clean. That being said, when I started to exclusively pump, I did use both Spectra and Medela flanges, so the other set up came in handy as well. The little brush that comes with the Spectra pump is great for cleaning the long and narrow part of these protectors. As far as function they work as well as the originals. The Spectra tubing stays on very nicely and I havent had any problems with them disconnecting when they are not supposed to. Highly recommend these!

Works well
I’ve been using these for a few weeks now, and they seem to work well. I’ve experimented with the Spectra backflow protectors with the Maymom adaptors, these, and the collection kit that came with the Spectra pump - suction seems to be the same across the boards!Other reviewers have mentioned there is condensation or moisture in the backflow protector after using these, which is true. However the same amount is produced when I use the Spectra kit, so it seems pretty normal. The other thing I notice popping up in reviews is the durability of the silicone diaphragms/inserts, so I’m curious to see how these hold up. The Spectra ones need to be replaced every 1-3 months, so we’ll see how long these ones last.

Why didn't I do this sooner?
I use these long nose backflow protectors with my medela bottles and pumpin pal flanges (instead of those irritating yellow and white membranes/valves, I also use the duckbill pieces), and then I can use all these with the spectra S2 pump! Pumping is far more efficient and comfortable now. I only wish I would've made all these tweaks right from the get-go as I got discouraged early on and experienced lots of pain and irritation which made me pump less and have a big drop in supply. Being able to use the spectra pump with the medela bottles and pumpin pals has enabled me to get back in it, and slowly but surely, I'm gaining supply back (helps when you can pump every 3 hours without dread and soreness!) GET THESE. :)

Medela symphony to Spectra S1 hack
I used the medela symphony that was loaned from my hospital so I bought several medela pump sets to keep on rotation. Once I had to return the loaner I had to use my own spectra s1. This adapter is a life saver. Saved a ton of money by being able to still use my Medela pump parts that I got so accustomed to

Awesome, so easy to use and clean, got to use Medela parts with Spectra S1
Wow I'm so glad this exists. Made switching from hospital loan Medela Symphony and all its parts to a Spectra S1 once the rental period ended super painless and easy.
