Auto Meter 10050 Triple Dash Pod

I had sent it back, if you look at surface finish in the pitcher it is rough and matches the finish of the dash. When you receive the dash pod it is smooth and doesn't match dash at all. I looked and saw others had the same as me. Called Auto Meter and the person I spoke with had no product knowledge at all.

The fit and finish are good, directions could be more detailed about complete installation. I drilled a hole in the dash to run wires to gauges, gauges press in and hold nicely. I also screwed down the front bracket which made for a solid install.

Nice design, but the sides don't quite blend in with the car's upper dashboard. For me it's not a big problem. You just need double tape to install it.

Aesthetically it looks amazing and the gauges fit really well. However the only way to secure it to the dashboard is with a piece of double-sided tape. I wiped it down with alcohol and it still came off. I wound up having to screw it down to the dashboard in order to keep it down. Other than that it's a great addition to my Mustang.

I'm happy with this but it isn't what I thought I was buying. Supposed to be a grained finish like the rest of the dash. It's not grained at all.
