Disco Dust is non-toxic, but, not meant to eat. It most likely won't hurt you if eaten. The FDA cautions eating any of these type of glittery products, unless, the list of ingredients are all edible. If the product doesn't have a list of ingredients to check, don't eat it. Take decorations off before eating cake, etc... Hope this helps.
