Not only does this thing look great, it is not just for looks. Heavy duty always ready to go. Piece of mind that it will be there when I need it. Put it on, take it off real easy and it is quiet even over bumps. This thing is going to be on my truck for the long haul?

I thought it would be 1/4" square tubing, but this thing is solid steel ('cept for the holes, of course). Should work well in an emergency. Just more stuff to carry when possibly slipping into trouble or just being ready to help out in the boonies. Or maybe I can get a tow to the nearest charger for my heavy Ford Lightning EV! Got the shackles and kinetic tow rope from Autodunk to work with this. Not sure if the plastic washers are necessary.

Just wish the 2" shaft was a little longer for the vehicle I wanted to use it on. I can't get the holes to line up for the pin because it hits the D-ring part too soon. Just something to keep in mind. I will use it somewhere!

High quality shackle and receiver. Be aware, that the paint may need to be sanded off of the first couple inches of the shank. This measures 2" x 2" including the heavy coat of black paint. I had to dremel-sand off the paint down to bare metal to get it to fit in my new 4Runner hitch. Packaging was not secured with tape to seal the box closed. Amazon just slapped the label on the box it came from the manufacturer in and sent it out. It was all intact, nothing missing. I'd recommend it as a good value. Have now put it to work yet.
