Well Made and Bargain Buy
I used these trees on a Martha Stewart inspired wreath project and they gave a nice contrast to the other bottle brush trees I used. The project called for a quick immersion into a diluted bleach solution to give color contrast, and these trees did not fare as well as the bottle brush versions, but that does not detract from how nice these are; I simply used these as is. I used a white paint, craft glue and glitter combination to flock the trees and they looked lovely. These were a good buy and the quality was outstanding.

Solid diorama addition
I am adding a picture of something I am working on, to give these a bit of perspective. If you want to see how they work in a scene, look this user name up on YouTube, along with the search "Terminator Diorama." This will give you an idea of the 5.5 and the 6" with some frame of reference.Reading reviews, I sometimes wonder if people actually ever look at how to build things before reviewing. The major complaint here is that the trees do not stand on their own; the size of the trees here normally require something to be glued. These will stand; I have 12 of them freestanding on a loosely-fitting grass mat, and I am planning on adding 6 more to the scene. When working with scenes, however, gluing things into place is the preferred method after you decide on the "where." The stands are smaller, but they do support themselves to a point. Just don't think these are something you are going to set up and, for some reason, carry somewhere an move.As far as these are concerned, the trees have worked out pretty well, and have allowed me to add depth to a diorama I am building. I am adding them in conjunction to forty 3.25 " straight designs and 10 3.25" bushy designs, along with "snow." The way these are made are great, with them not shedding and them holding their shape, which is great when you compare them with lower cost, lower quality alternatives. Their price is MUCH better than what you would find at a hobby shop, with a comparison of about 2 dollars per tree here versus around 8 to 9 or more per. To put that in perspective, I can pick up around 9 of these for what I can 2 by going to a local shop. (current price is a little over 12 dollar).Packaging here is quality, too, with these actually coming attached in the box. I have ordered a lot of other types, and cheap ones are bagged and other bigger ones are sometimes suffer subpar packing. What that means is that your trees end up getting impacted and shed. These have had minimal shedding and I think it shows in the final product.

GREAT TREES for detail scenery in high visability detailing
Cost and protection of the trees is great. I had a bad experence where the vender put a PLASTIC BAG of trees in the mail and they where CRUSHED

Great trees, very realistic for terrain-building
I have not started to use these yet, but they are highly detailed and are excellent in every way. Be warned that they are a big on the fragile side however as some of the foliage did come off during unpacking. But amazing what a bit of glue can do. And if you are buying these, I'm willing to bet you have a bit of that laying around anyway.

Don't look realistic
Bought as open box. Worth the discount but not the full price. Tree don't look realistic. They also shed a lot even if you handle with care.

Okay
Nice but too much shedding

Tree in a box. No flocking way.
The "traditional" way to get trees for model layouts and dioramas is to buy a box of tree parts, a can of glue, and a bucket of flocking. That takes time, work, and an endless flocking mess. Flock that. This is much more expensive, but so much easier if you only need a few trees. The trees don't look terribly different from well-done home-flocked model trees (if anything, these are a little bushier but lacking in some depth and asymmetry that model experts can create), but they are entirely mess free. Pull them out of the box, place them in your model, and go. There's very little loose flocking in the box, and what's on the tree seems to stay on the tree. They look as pictured: straight, consistent, dark evergreens. Real trees may have more drama -- but they leave a mess. They come in a clever box that holds the trees straight up during shipping, so they arrive in great shape no matter how much your local delivery driver likes to shake packages.

Not the best, needs work to look better.
Not the best, certainly not on par with some other brands. Tree stems are very long, so really cant be used out of the box. Trees are very uniform, looking kind of unnatural. Recommend flocking them, but at that point just go for cheaper items.
