Perfect! They fit right in and the cats are happy as clams! The refill in two pieces make for a flipping of 4 scratch surface. Once they pick the front center to pieces, you can turn them so the picked ends are at the top and bottom with a renewed front center. Then when that area is shredded, you can flip them over and still have two more 'renews' so to speak. It's truly 4 refills in one! That's 'the Baby' in the photo.

My sweet little cat who never raises a claw to my furniture started marking her territory my ripping up the bedroom door frames. I mounted this toy (it comes with command strips) minus the dangly nuisance (easily removed) on the wall between the doors and she is delighted! I've been checking the wood frames every few days and can't find any new damage so Yea!

My cats absolutely love the scratching post and activity toy. I was excited to see that I could get replacement scratching inserts.

When the refill said a package of two, I expected to get two refills, instead, the wall scratcher uses two of the cardboard cores for one refill. It would have been more truthful to say it was one refill, not two. So, for only ONE refill (two pieces), I think it is overpriced.12-22-13: I have to say, Amazon listens to their reviewers - the description has been changed to reflect my comments. I give Amazon a 5+ rating for that.

I heard this product is being discontinued. I hope not. My cats just love it.

My cat prefers old-fashioned cardboard to any high-end scratching post (we've tried EVERYTHING), and he absolutely loves these scratchers. I love that we can flip the replacement cores once he's scratched through one side to make them last twice as long. Despite his heavy scratching, each replacement core lasts us quite a while - approximately 4-5 months.

Came quickly and replacement was fast and easy to install. My cat loves the fact that this is on the wall as she loves to stretch and scratch. Saves my furniture also. Cost is a little high though.

This is one of our cats' favorite scratching outlets, and I love that we can easily replace the cores as they get worn out.

What a great idea to have replacements for this scratcher. 😂We have it mounted on the wall (about 8" up from the floor to provide a good stretch) and it's easy to change these inner pieces that provide the scratch factor.Mr. Cheddar likes this scratcher more than any of the other ones he has had, over the years. Definitely a paws- up for Cat Dancer.😽😽

Cats love them, has kept furniture safe from our three very active cats.Only trouble is the cost: we would need at least two of these a month and that is not exactly affordable.If cost is not a concern, go ahead and get this. We are trying out a wood&sisal wall mounted scratch pad.
