This cute handy thing was perfect for printing recipes for my recipe book. Thank you!P.s. Too bad you can't work with it from a computer or laptop. The iPhone mobile app isn't great for printing out texts that are more than a couple of sentences long.

The prints look really cheap and very hazy. I don't know what the issue is. Maybe the paper? It didn't work as well as I thought even after multiple tries and I no longer use it.

It comes with a roll of tape and doesn’t seem to require ink. I might be wrong. The app allows for multiple ways and things you can print. It is also easy to use.IMAGE REVIEW:If you’re thinking of using this to print images, just know the quality of your pictures and the lighting will matter. What’s more important are the lines in your photo. It will most likely come out grainy. It will always show you a preview of the photo but it still may look even darker in the printed picture. In my photo example, the first picture is the original photo and the second is what the printed one looks like. I also wanted to show what the preview grey wash looked on in the app before I press print looked like but the app does not allow me to screenshot that for some reason.Great product.

Der Phomemo M02 ist ein einfacher Thermodrucker. Er verfügt über einen USB-C-Anschluss zum Aufladen des eingebauten Akkus, einen Ein-/Ausschalter und einen Schieber zum Öffnen des Geräts und Einlegen des Papiers. Nach einer Stunde Stillstand schaltet er sich automatsich aus. Der M02 bedruckt ausschließlich 2 Zoll (53 mm) breites Papier (3,5 m Länge endlos). Zum sofortigen Start wird eine Proberolle mitgeliefert. Es gibt keinen Schneidmechanismus, sondern eine Abreißkante.Zum Betrieb ist die Phomemo-App (zu beziehen über Google Play) notwendig. Die App kann eine ganze Reihe von Phomemo-Druckern antreiben, einige Funktionen bringen auf dem M02 keine vernünftigen Ergebnisse zustande. Für meine Zwecke (Adressaufkleber, Etketten für Schachteln und Beutel) sind die gegebenen Möglichkeiten ausreichend.Smartphone und Drucker werden über Bluetooth verbunden, was schnell und stabil funktioniert. Der Drucker muss nur zum Drucken eingeschaltet werden, vorbereitetende Arbeiten lassen sich ohne Verbindung durchführen. Außerdem arbeitet die App mit meinen Chromebooks zusammen. Die Kombination aus Smartphone, App und Drucker arbeitet faszinierend einfach - ohne Kabel für Netzstrom und USB wie bei meinem alten Etikettendrucker.Die App und die wichtigsten Funktionen:Auf der Startseite der App finden wir zunächst die Funktionen **Notiz bearbeiten**, **Bild drucken** und **Vorlagenmarkt**. Ich beschränke mich auf das Bearbeiten von Notizen. Hier kann man Text eingeben und bearbeiten (aber nur quer zur Laufrichtung des Papiers), diese mit Bildern kombinieren und in Textform eingegebene QR-Codes einfügen. Bilder lassen sich um 90 Grad drehen und mit der Zwei-Finger-Geste zoomen.Desweiteren finden wir auf der Hauptseite die Funktionen **Dokument** zum Laden von Word-, Text und PDF-Dateien, **Webseite drucken** und **Kleingedrucktes**, die ich allesamt als nutzlos für den M02 betrachte. **Die Werkzeuge** führen zum Bannerdruck, damit werden einzugebende Texte längs in Laufrichtung der Papierrolle auf voller Breite gedruckt. Außerdem finden wir **OCR** für die Texterkennung (nicht getestet) und eine Funktion zum **Scannen** (nicht sinnvoll, weil jeder Scan in S/W auf die 2 Zoll Papierbreite skaliert wird).Für den Druck von Anschriften verwende ich einen Trick. Die Adresse (gegebenenfalls mit Absender-Zeile) schreibe ich mit einer Textverarbeitung und fertige davon einen Screenshot an. Das Bild lade ich auf das Smartphone und in die Phomemo-App: Notiz > Bild > (Bild auswählen) > Drehen (um 90 Grad) oder Schneiden oder Einstellung.Die Schwarz/Weiß-Bilder von Gesichtern taugen bei einer Auflösung von 200 Dpi nicht für einen Ausweis, aber sie sind besser als erwartet und habe ein gewisses Etwas.Im Kopf der Anwendung befinden sich drei Symbole: ganz rechts Drucken, links daneben das Uhrsymbol zeigt das Archiv mit zurückliegenden Drucken an, das Symbol ganz links schiebt die aktuelle Druckaufgabe in das Archiv.Für den Preis, den ich bei Amazon bezahlt habe, bin ich begeistert von dem Gerät und seinen Möglichkeiten.

I got this for the Mrs. She wanted a photo printer that used the instant photo film to print pictures from your phone. Unfortunately it's very expensive and after seeing the good reviews of this thermal printer and the prime day sale i decided to pick this up.It's very easy to use. Just add a role of thermal paper, switch it on and connect via the app and bluetooth. It does have a rechargeable battery so it's good for taking out and about with you.This is a thermal printer (like a receipt printer) so there's no ink involved it just uses a laser. Because of this it only prints black and white. If it is a selfie or close up there's lots of detail and it prints really well. If however there's a lot of white or not closeup then the prints are not good. They do include 1 small roll of paper with the printer.Because this uses thermal paper it's very cheap to use. Way cheaper for a roll of thermal paper than the film ones. This would make a good gift for any selfie enthusiast.Good quality and value. Highly recommended. Thank you for reading my review.
