Is this the type i need to limit power loss when used to power a dish for cbale tv?

I was having issues with slow internet over coaxial. After exhausting all other avenues, the service tech said "Oh, you have the clear connector, which doesn't allow for high speeds, the blue ones allow more throughput." So all I know is the ones used by the tech that have the blue internal part will supposedly limit power loss. Or allow for more throughput.

The ones I purchased are real metal, not plastic or "pot" metal.

Can these be used to make your own wall plates? I am wanting to add a satalite connection to my TV and have to modify a plate that is already there.

If you have read the two prior answers and have the threaded nuts that fit, and are willing to use two connectors and plates depending on the thickness of the wall you could possibly make a wall plate.
