The results turned out great
Great mortar for the inside of a fireplace. A little difficult to spread evenly. I used my fingers which worked better than any spreading tool. The results were great. Dried very hard and the tan color is a very soft color.

Didn't expect it to feel gritty but first time using. It worked great.

While I have not had a fire in the fireplace to "test" the product, I am sure it will be fine in that regard. My rating is for the ease of working with the product and how well lit matched the brick in the fire box. When they said it was buff (I read this to mean tan) it was exactly that. very pleased with the look
