From the End of barsoom to the end of a vendetta
The first story of this volume has Dejah finding herself in the distant future of mars thanks to a malfunctioning time door. It really has nothing to do wtih the overarching story of the series, but is fun for what it is. Now, why the humans who are colonizing mars in this time period all dont have the powers that John Carter has once he gets to mars, I dont know, and its never explained. The second arc focuses on a series of attacks against Helium, all of whom seem to be caused by Dejahs evil brother from an earlier volume. That is a stronger story than the time travel one, as it calls back to alot of the adventures Dejah has had throughout this series. There is an annoying cameo from Carter at the end of this story that comes out of nowhere, but its short enough that it doesn't do too much damage. I would recommend this to anyone whose read the previous volumes, but new readers might find themselves struggling to keep up with the story.

Scontro finale

Grand Finale
Dejah Thoris (the series) ends on high adventure and quality storytelling. Collecting the final run of the series, (issues 31-37), Dejah is thrust 1,000 years into the future where she finds Mars under invasion by the Earth. It appears that Earth is becoming uninhabitable so they are terraforming Mars and the conquest have united both the red and green Martians into the resistance. The leader is none other than Dejah Carter, a descendant of our noble heroine. The second half of the book has Dejah returning to her own time only to deal with the treacheries of her evil brother Kajak. He wants to take over the city of Helium after the rest of the family are dead. Dejah both outsmarts and outfights her brother and all is resolved by the end of the book. The series has been interesting to follow, a long prequel of sorts to the John Carter stories, as we as readers got to see the exploits of Dejah Thoris. Clearly written with quality art, this series comes to its conclusion.
