By anchoring something other than your body, you can change the angle of resistance and drastically increase the number of exercises you can perform with your fitness cables. The heavy-duty, self-centering, Door Anchor protects cables from regular wear and tear and holds up to three cables at a time in order to provide customized workouts! The Door Anchor allows the resistance point to move up and down the door to change the angle of resistance allowing for total body exercises. Set it high for downward movements, set it low for upward movements, or center it for presses and rows! The part where the exercise bands will touch the plastic piece on this product is kind of soft (a good thing). BUT, no matter what any manufacturer of exercise bands or door anchors says, the strap that goes through the door frame needs to be protected for the product to last. I put a small, thin sock around mine before jamming it into the door... so the stock will tear, not the anchor (I'm sure you can use something thinner). I also put a folded cloth around the bands so that the bands don't scrape the plastic on the anchor. I lift fairly heavy, work out about four times per week, and have used this anchor for two months and it is still in new condition. Review: Four Stars - Good one.
