great shoes
I love these, usually unisex shoes don't fit me properly as they are too wide at the heel and as I like casual shoes I often find it hard (being a girl) to find cool shoes that fit me. These are perfect, they're comfortable and look really cool and the sizing is perfect. They are a bit expensive, but so worth it.

Poor quality
The look of the shoes is good, as the picture shows, but the quality disappoints me.I bought a pair in black colour, size 5.They are not comfortable and hurt my heels a bit.Since they've been worn and cannot be returned, I decided to cut off the top of the heel and sew them back to make a little heel notch. Later on I found that the colour of the shoes run off very easily. After a few wears the black transferred to the white shoelace, and my hands also got black colour on if I rub the surface of the shoes (which is quite difficult to avoid when putting them on).I'd have returned them for a refund if I realize these problems earlier. These are my first pair of Vans and I think I won't buy again.

Not really comfy.
These Vans are not that comfy for me. When I wear them in the house they're fine but when I go outside I feel EVERY lump, bump and even tiny little stones. To begin with the squeaked but after walking around for a week or so they stopped but they are SO uncomfortable, other reviews state that they forget that the have them on - HOW ??? I mean walking down a hill or up it changes the way they they feel making them even MORE uncomfortable.I was really looking forward to wearing them but now after a whole year I think I've only worn them outside 20 -25 times, great indoors but this is not why I bought them. there is very little in the way of support for your feet. The sole is flimsy the upper little better, I've tried tying the tighter, tried an insole, tried thicker socks but nothing makes takes away the feeling of what I'm walking on pavement wise. :(Admittedly, I have been using Salomon trainers and I know that there is difference between the two manufacturers, but still, I should be able to feel tiny stones as I walk with Vans, so unfortunately I can't give more stars or a more positive review.

Looks good, wears good.
I walk a lot in my job, so needed a pair of trainers that were both sturdy and comfortable. After spotting these on my nieces feet, I could not resist ordering a pair as they looked so good. I went for my normal shoe size and they fitted perfectly. My only problem was I had blisters on my heels for a couple of days, but I just kept the laces loose and stuck a couple of plasters on my heels! They soon settled down and I am wearing them most days and they are indeed very comfortable. I find my feet don't ache at all at the end of the working day, which has happened with other brands.Good grip and no signs of any wear or tear yet. Would certainly buy these again!

Nice but short lived
The shoes look as nice in person as they do in the pictures and they're very comfortable. Its biggest problem is their durability, don't expect them to last more than a few months. I hope they improve on that because they're great otherwise.

Shortest lived pair of trainers
I was pleased initially with the trainers but after waering them for 2 months they began to split and now after five months they are uncomfortable to wear. I will now have to buy another pair of trainers. Shortest lived pair of trainers i have ever had.
