Great Twister
I read this book literally in a day as couldn't put it down once I started reading! Great plot and I certainly didn't see that ending or some of the other twists that come to light during the storyline. A definite record read and I look forward to the next one.

Brilliant find
I am new to the writing of Willow Rose, but am so very glad I have discovered it. This book is the story of the search for a serial killer who is abducting adolescent children who later turn up dead, and the way that newly-seperated mother of three young and teenage children, Eva Rae Thomas, until recently, a top FBI profiler gets drawn into the case in the small town where she grew up.I enjoyed this book immensely, the characters are real, and you care what happens to them, and what happens next, and the story is compelling, detailed and fascinating, in a macabre way.I look forward to reading lots more books featuring Eva Rae, and lots more by Willow Rose, and am delighted that she is such a prolific writer. Looks like there is plenty more engrossing reading to look forward to.

Well written, good plot.
I did enjoy this book, even if you are suckered into buying the second then the third in the series. Normally I would not, but in this case, as I liked the character, the plot and the style, I did. The author does make you feel like you have got your money's worth, though, which is why I continued. I only give five stars to complete novels, thus the four stars. But, as I have said, this is well written and worth a shot.

Couldn't put it down
Loved the book from start to the end. Got my attention from the very first lines, actually stayed up until 4.21am to finish the book. Just about to download the next in the series definitely one of my favourites.Sue

Stick to your gut and stop after 3 chapters if the book is rubbish.
This is the first in a series about Eva Rae someone or other. I couldn't be bothered to go back and find her surname. I read as far as Chapter 26, ignoring my usual rule to stop if I'm not grabbed at the end of Chapter 3. But, I thought 5,000 people wouldnt give five star reviews if the book was garbage. I was wrong. Clearly, some people (almost 10,00 in total in this case) have a low bar. The story centred on an ex FBI profiler who has given up her job and moved back to her home town where she decides to help the Police solve a crime. Now, i dont know much about police procedures in the States, but I doubt they allow former FBI officers with no ID to interview people close to the case they're investigating. And, of course, she gets it right every time. Incredible. In brief, the story was far fetched, the characters poorly drawn and very shallow. And the protagonist, Eva Wotsit, unlikeable. On the plus side, it only cost me £0.77. But that's £0.77 I'll never see again. Will I read the rest of the series? I'd rather have my eyes removed with red hot needles.

Great story
It is the first Eva Rae Thomas book I have read but it will not be the last. Great read.

Crime Mystery Story
This is the first book I've read by this author and there were lots of elements I enjoyed about it. It was an interesting plot line and I liked how the MC was juggling her career with her family life. There were a few plot points that I didn't quite buy into, especially a startling reveal over halfway through from one of the main characters which felt clunky. There are lots of good reviews for the series and I will probably read the next one to see how I get on.
