Canvas Web Belt Military Style Antique Silver Buckle/Tip Solid Color 54" Long

Belt is prefect

Inexpensive and functional, but noticeably lighter weight than the military style canvas web belts I've bought from outdoor supply companies (like Cabella's or EMS) in the past. I don't expect it to last 20 years like previous belts, but at this cost I guess it doesn't need to.

It's a very simple belt. I can't say much about it since I don't have other belts like it to compare it to. The color's of this belt was what I needed, it looks great and the buckle works fine. It was easy to cut the belt to the size I needed also.

You get what you pay for and it keeps your pants in place, but the webbing material is narrower than the buckle and very stiff. The width slack keeps the web and buckle off center when fastening both the clamp and the roller adjustment. The stiff polyester web is extremely firm making the buckle clamp very difficult to work with. The end tip is a poor match, again, due the width differences and the fastening teeth are unable to fully penetrate into the webbing. The metal belt tip hangs over the webbing edge causing it to catch on belt loops for undesirable wear on the pant material.

This is about 50", just barely. I'd like a few more inches. I have it at the edge of its length. They need one that is 54". The price is right, and it makes a great backup. I used this type of belt when I was in the Navy, but I wish it came with the shiny silver/ nickel buckle. . .

Bought this simple belt for my husband. He has a smaller waist that doesn't fit most standard belts so this style is perfect. He always ends up in between the holes on leather belts so this style works better for his needs, so if he needs to tighten or loosen it works great. He cut off the excess to have it fit him how he wanted. I offered to order more in different colors if he wanted more than one, we shall see.
