just ok
First thing I noticed when I opened the box was the included spatula and recipe book were missing. Then when I opened up the bag that contained the beaters and the dough hooks I saw that the chrome finish is not smooth and even,...it is bumpy and rough. I am a bit worried that the finish will chip off as I use the mixer, especially as the beaters will come in contact with the sides of the mixing bowls. Also an uneven finish makes them harder to clean.I also noticed that after attaching the beaters they are able to be pulled out quite easily, you don't even need to use the eject button. I've never owned a mixer before that didn't lock the beaters in firmly. It worries me a bit that they might come loose while on high speed during mixing. But in all fairness its been awhile since I have needed to buy a new mixer so I don't know if this is how they all are now.The controls are backwards to me, instead of starting at 0 then moving up to the highest speed, the lowest settings start up at the top right next to the turbo button, then you slide the button down for the higher speeds. To me it makes more sense to slide the button UP so you can hit the turbo button if you need to go one final step higher in speed. The low starting speed could be slower, nothing is worse than starting a mixer up and getting splashed with liquid or poofed with flour. The directions say not to run this longer than 5 minutes to avoid overheating, that bothers me a bit as sometimes I have more than 1 thing going on at a time and it doesn't say how long to wait after the 5 minutes before starting the next task.I like how this mixer will sit flat on the counter. With my last mixer, I had to lean it on the bowl or set it on a plate while I scraped the sides of the bowl. Being able to set it down without it tipping over is nice.* 1/7/14 Edited to add: There were too many things I didn't like about this mixer so I returned it and bought a better mixer.

It's a wonderful powerful mixer
You can't beat the price on this mixer...It's very powerful....!I would say I'd like to have had bigger beaters, because that's what I'm use to...but in all honesty.... the beaters did a wonderful job..!I'd buy it again...and I'd buy it for a Gift...!

What power in such a small mixer and it rests on the table without toppling over. I was a little leary at first but it was a good choice for me as a quick grab when I don't want to use my BIG KitchenAid and I wanted the flat beater blades instead of the wire ones.

Seems good!
This mixer arrived to replace an aging Phillips that had worked for at least a decade. So far it has performed well. It is solidly built and handles well. The negatives are minor, the cord is shorter than we might have liked it, and there is no included stand. Still worth a 5 star rating so far.

great
Nice mixer just the right size and enough power to mix multiple items. Bread kneading beaters a must have. Awesome

Works great!!
This is not a cheap mixer. It feels solid in my hands and has no problems creaming butter. It starts as slow as needed then goes smoothly to very high. I could not ask for a better handheld mixer!
