When you depend on computers for at least half your living wages, These are insane time savers! Running Goodyear 1/2 inch id hydraulic line (never degrades with distilled water) I have a set of these quick release valves between every component in my system. 12 in total! I cool all my computer parts and have an external heat exchanger. I even cool my m.2, chip sets power deliver to my computer. I'm a soft tube Nut because I have to change components at least once a year. I really hope they don't stop making these. Also a 3/4 Id version would be the best!

The fittings are high quality and make assembly a breeze. Make sure you realize how large these fittings (1/2" x 3/4" tubing) are and also fairly heavy. This could be an issue on some water cooling builds.

Garbage had to disconnect part of my loop for filling it back up just a refill after a couple months of use and fluid was everywhere just lost one of my 180Hz monitors and cant use my multi thousand $ computer till I reorder tubes and re do my loop now I tried playing with it it will not snap close

First of all, who has a 1 inch wrench that is not a mechanic?Second of all, Using a wrench with a cloth scratched the hell out of these. I was careful and it still looks like crap. The coating is very weak.

These quick disconnects are really a time saver. There are reports that the black plating does not hold up well over over time and causes scaling issues on the quick disconnects. Will have to report back later after this has run in the loop for a while.

Really well built and works great. Highly recommended if you are water cooling with a remote cooling system.
