surprisingly accurate
We had an old analog scale for years and it had started getting whimsical. You could get 3 different weights for 3 successive tries. BUT THIS DIGITAL SCALE always gives you the same weight each time. AND, it matched one of the whimsical analog readings.

The media could not be loaded. Way more precise than my mechanical scale. It's somewhat heavy thanks to the glass, but holds my weight well and I never feel like I'll damage it. The display is also easy to read in the dark. It is a little cold to step on in morning though haha.

Accuracy, simplicity, and unobtrusively eye appealing
Needed a replacement for unreliable (35 yrs.) mechanical body scale. Read a lot of reviews of different brands. Spotted Taylor, an American company, making precision measurement instruments for over 150 years. The price was excellent <$23, liked glass top, charcoal grey.Tested known weight on several spots in home and weight was exact. Excellent accurate, modern, replacement body scale!
