Made a suet log for our daughter and ourselves and needed a way to keep the squirrels away. Hang the log over a branch with this wire. No squirrel even attempts to go down this wire. My brother-in-law added a pulley at the top to run the feeder up/down. Our daughter made a top hanging hook from a 4" U-bolt, joiner, eye screw, this wire, and a bottom heavy metal loop. She then hung the hook far enough from the trunk of the tree so that no squirrels could jump sideways onto the feeder. She uses an extension pole to place the feeder on the bottom of the heavy metal loop -- squirrels have been defeated. We also intend to use this wire for summer time hanging flower baskets. My only issue is applying the wire-end aluminum ferrules because I find the plastic coating hard to strip, and my aged hands don't have perfect strength to squeeze the ferrules or strip the plastic. That's not the wire's fault so I took off no stars for my own inadequate tools/hands.

This was a fantastic buy! I needed A spool of cable to mount string lights in the backyard, but I was not certain how much cable I would need. I purchased this spool and was extremely pleased with how well it was designed, how it easy it was to work with, and just the overall experience with it. Great product!

The best I can say of anything is that...there are no problems with it. Not something you can usually say.

Overall, good product. Did not arrive in the shipping window in turn delaying my project-- which is the reason I knocked off a star. Used to hang outdoor patio lights. Only been 1 week since installation, but I have no doubts this wire will hold up. My patio lights are lightweight, unlike some that have heavy gauge electric.

This was purchased to lash black bamboo I harvested this yr..I looked at so many options bfore making up my mind, so many to choose from..😵‍💫 It’s weather proof in every way & is coated stainless steel wire, that will give me th strength I need..this will last several yrs I kno & I bought plenty so as not to run out..of course time will tell but, I feel confident..🤗

Used this to hang patio string lights. Product was high quality and strong. Better deal and higher quality buying the cable individually rather than a cheap ‘kit’.
