Just as another customer said, it didn’t seem to work at first. Woody came back but then… he vanished and we haven’t had any more issues 👏🏼

We used 2 of these on our boat, one on the bow and the other on the canvas top of the bridge. We had almost no bird issues, prior to getting these, the bow was literally covered in crap and took hours to scrub the stains off. Our dock neighbors are still having significant issues and are seriously scrubbing while we wave pulling out of out slip on bird crap free!

This product works extremely well. I positioned it in a flower pot and can move it on my dock as needed. Has exceeded my expectations. My dock stays clean now!!!

Seagulls still come, and don’t appear to be bothered at all by this.In addition, the blue bag that serves as a base is too flimsy to hold the device up properly. It should also come with a metal plate to secure bolts securely.

There are a lot of these in the marina where I keep my boat. Given that it really doesn't spin easily, I hope it still works. I have asked other boat owners and they say theirs also does not spin easily but does work.Possibly a better bearing on the shaft?

I bought this item to keep the ducks off the end of our lily pad that faces the open lake when we're not using it. The lily pad is 5 ft. wide and 12 ft. long. The 2' version left a little room on either side that the ducks used to perch. The ducks did not seem to be the slightest bit deterred or disturbed by the small version. So I got the 4 ft. Version and it's better but the ducks still get on the lilly pad and walk around it when it's sitting still and the fingers aren't spinning. I also bought the sandbag base for this product which was easy to attach and simple enough to deploy. Not sure that I can say this is the best duck deterrent product out there. Seeing as the ducks don't mind it too much. However, the product is a quality made item and the sandbag base is a great fit and also well made.

It’s very strange, but this didn’t keep the woodpeckers away at first. I thought maybe they were placed to high above the chimney vent, because the birds were just flying underneath and continuing to peck. This went on for a few weeks, until one day it just stopped completely, and they haven’t returned since. Maybe they got sick of going underneath it?They would work great for keeping birds off of ledges or boats, I’m sure. The quality and design are genius, I just wish they hung down lower, as they probably would’ve deterred the birds immediately. However, now that they’re gone, I can say they did work!

My boat sits at the outer most end of the dock and was getting hammered by the flock of birds using it for their landing post while leaving behind a nasty mess. Other boats near me were not having a problem, then I installed this device! Now my boat is clear and the birds have moved on to a few other boats adjacent to mine. NOTE: Be sure to thoroughly clean your boat / boat cover before installing this otherwise the "scent" they left previously may continue to attract some determined birds.
