How well does it hold an edge? Does it stay sharp after use? Just wondering because I intend to use this blade quite a bit.

No bs very sharp and stays sharp it will no doubt blow your mind when you receive it and see how well but together they are and there are videos of the swords being used

You say this was forged using traditional techniques so why isn’t the blade treated with differential heating?

Since this is an entry-level Katana, we only oil quenched it, and it is intended primarily for decoration and combat readiness.
