Saved my propellor shaft zinc
This has saved my boat's main propellor shaft zinc. This is bleeding off a good deal of stray current. It works very nicely. After two years there's still a lot of zinc left.

This puppy is working great, Im kinda in a hot marina with boats that are not taken care of that my zincs look good and this Grouper is taking the blunt of the problems.

Lasted 1 year until alligator clip corroded and broke
The alligator clip is made of a material that corrodes relatively quickly and needs constant filing to maintain a good connection. Mine eventually broke due the corrosion.

works like it should
Purchased for freshwater to increase my underwater protection.I used a test probe to see what the difference is.hanging freely with reference test probe and its around 1900mVWhen attached to my common ground/bonding system, it increased my protection by 150-200mV. This is with reference probe within 6" of stainless steel prop on alpha drives.Again this is in freshwater.Works great, just wish the attached cable was a couple feet longer to make it easier to reach my common bonding plate.
