For what it is, it's perfect. It is a TABLETOP easel. My wife uses it. Sometimes she sits to paint, and sometimes she stands. This works perfect for her. It is not her regular, full time, easel. This is her travel easel. It packs easily, light weight, and does its job perfectly. She loves it.The construction quality is exactly what I expected. It is not fine furniture quality, but you would be afraid to use it if it were. The cuts and holes are good. The finish is good. Everything about it is good. Personally, I would prefer knobs on the screws instead of wing nuts, but that would doubled the cost, and I would not have bought it a double the cost.Don't be afraid of it. It does what it says, and does it well. Good quality. Good price.

I had terrible posture while painting and didn't really have a way to hold my canvases. I also don't have space nor the budget for a fancy full-size easel. I think this is the best of both worlds. It's really sturdy and the bolts can be adjusted for a huge range of angles. With some fiddling of the bar that holds your canvas in place, I was able to get my easel to hold a tiny 4x7 canvas panel up to a huge 18x24 panel. I can also hold my sketchbook on it pretty well, and when it's not in use it can fold up and rest in a corner of my closet. Overall I am really happy with my purchase.

The media could not be loaded.  Nice quality product but whoever put it together put it put it together the wrong way, so I had to take it apart and put it back together the right way, which you shouldn’t have to do when you pay for something! I would’ve given at five stars otherwise.

Upon receipt, the easel was missing a wingnut for the second screw to hold the easel at the proper height. I had a replacement bolt and nut, but it required me to drill a slightly larger hole for the bolt.

Purchased two to dismantle and create a larger easel setup. Frankenstein's monster except for holding up paintings.

This easel is a table easel but if you wanted to stand up while painting it is tall enough to slide the support up in order to stand. It is light weight and sturdy. This is my second one. The first lasted many years and in fact is still in use. The wing nuts are all gone but with a piece of panel nailed to the supports it still functions as a good easel.

Actually it came broken because it is so cheaply made, and the materials are cheap and flimsy. I sent it back
